This apartment is in a great location. Centrally located and within walking distance to a lot of Athens sites, restaurants, and stores. The apartment itself is very nice, clean, and has all the amenities you need. George, the host, is so kind and responds to any requests/questions you may have. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We enjoyed the apartment immensly , It was comfortable, well-equiped and close to everything we wanted to see just walking. Restaurants were many and the food was tasty. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this wonderful city. Our departure was rushed however because the taxi for the airport arrived but our host was late. We had to leave the key under the carpet in front of the door. Thank you for everything George!

The apartment was in a nice area of Thissio very close to many nice restaurants, many with amazing views of the Acropolis-spectacular lit up at night. The apartment was steps from the walking path at the base of the acropolis. The host George was very responsive. If we return to Athens, we would definitely stay there again. Lovely to walk the neighborhood day or night. Not good for a car. We used Uber which was very affordable and connected directly to local taxis. We never waited more than 4 minutes for a ride. Avoid the metro from the airport. We saw no police or security. Gangs of pickpockets can overtake you and crowd you. They are very skilled at what they do and you have no recourse while you are toting luggage. Recommend Uber or other private transport from the airport.

We were in Athens to visit our daughter and her fiancé who are traveling. What luck that we found George’s place. It was as promised, roomy, comfortable, clean and close to everything. On our first night, we took a short walk and had a great dinner with a stunning view of the Acropolis! What a perfect vacation!

Wonderful apartment in Bohemian neighbourhood, close to lots of fantastic restaurants and the Acropolis. Highly recommend and we would certainly stay again if we visit Athens again.

This little place was perfect for us during our four day stay in Athens. We could walk to everywhere we needed to go for shopping, the Acropolis, the city. Communication with our host was a breeze

Localisation is excellent and really central. And 5 minutes walk from the metro. You see the Acropolis all lighted just walking down the street and the Agora is very near. A 20 minutes walk to get to the Acropolis center for the Hop On/ Hop Off buses. Restaurants very nearby to suit every wallet. And don’t be afraid for the security: the locks of the door are surely more secure than a prison….but it takes a little training….hihihi! And George is answering really fast to our questions. Highly suggested.

George was a wonderful host and this apartment was in the perfection location. We traveled with our 1 year old and George had everything we needed for our stay and was very accommodating. The apartment was up to date with great amenities and we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. We would 100% stay again! Thanks for a wonderful trip!!

When I say this place is perfect I mean it. Not only location is perfect but it so clean and cute and comfortable inside. Hosts were so thoughtful and easy to communicators with. We could walk everywhere we wanted to see in Athens and the neighborhood felt very safe. If we come to Athens again will be staying here!!!

Couldn’t imagine staying in a better location in Athens! You can easily walk to all of the prime locations, yet stay in an inviting neighborhood. You can walk to nearby restaurants, as well as a beautiful view of the Acropolis. One of our favorite restaurants was Kousoulo which is located about a block from the apartment. Then head left, when facing the restaurant, after dinner to see a fabulous night view of the Acropolis. There are a number of good coffee shops and bars in the area. George and his wife Roula were very helpful before and after our arrival. George was kind enough to come from work to let us in the apartment after we locked ourselves out, with a smile on his face. Plus, he gave us the number to a car service, which worked out perfectly for us. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. It was a good place to relax after our long days sightseeing. Make sure to visit the Acropolis first thing in the morning before the crowds and heat! Thank you George and Roula for a Great stay!!

Thank you George for the comfortable apartment. We only stayed overnight before our cruise but the apartment was very relaxing and the A/C was much appreciated. George’s wife was so kind as we were leaving directing us to the place to grab a taxi for the cruise port. The apartment location is well situated, we walked to the Acropolis and had a late dessert at a local cafe. George answered all of my many questions before arrival as this was our first trip to Greece. Thank you.

My 18 year old daughter and I had the pleasure of staying in this quaint and convenient apartment in Athens. It was an easy trip from the airport using the metro and less than a 20 minute walk to the Acropolis. Restaurants and shops are just around the corner. George is very attentive and responsive to his guests inquiries and needs. Very clean and quiet. I appreciated the thermos and coffee tumblers left out for guests to use during their stay.

My family had a short stay in Athens after our cruise, this property was perfect. The restaurants, bakeries, and nightlife in the area was amazing.

This is a very comfortable, clean, modern apartment located on a quiet street, yet just one block from the main pedestrian street in Thissio with beautiful Acropolis views and great restaurants. It is a very quick walk in one direction to the Acropolis, the Plaka and the Ancient Agora. But if you go the other way you enter the part of Thissio that is less touristy (which we value) and can enjoy the neighborhood's great bakeries, cafes, and restaurants. George was a very responsive host and also offered great advice (like how to store our luggage nearby as we arrived very early to Athens).

Felt bad that our flight was delayed, but George’s son was there to let us in. Very smooth check in process. We were only there one night, but it was perfect for our sightseeing in Athens. We walked everywhere from this apartment. We saw so much in 24 hours! Restaurants nearby was a huge plus….we walked to every meal! Easy access to the Metro which was great for our arrival and departure to/from the airport. No car needed. The apartment was clean and spacious. I would highly recommend it if you are staying in Athens or just passing through Athens.

Near everything. Airport to Thiseo metro station, then a three minute walk. Acropolis and other sights within easy walking distance. Great eating choices. Excellent views and quiet walking paths. History at you doorstep. Could not have asked for better.

Great location great apartment

The apartment is not glamorous, but comfortable, quiet, clean and perfectly located, almost around the corner from the pedestrian way to the Acropolis and the Agora, cafés, restaurants, etc. Unfortunately I fell ill and we had to cut short our trip. George, the host, was very responsive and tried to help. There was a mixup on billing, not helped by confusing aspects of the VRBO platform, but that was minor.

All expectations were exceeded. Host was very welcoming and spent time pointing out all of the amenities of the apartment. Kitchen is very well equipped, beds are comfy and there is room to spread out. Everything was in working order. Walking distance to Acropolis entry in one direction and Hadrians Library in the other. A choice of cafes and restaurants close by. Can highly recommend the weirdly named Retro Funky Cafe. Awesome food. A great experience all round. Thank you George.

The apartment is very clean with plenty of supplies. The owner was very accommodating and helpful with navigating Athens. He even helped us arrange a taxi for the morning drive to the airport. What a relief to have such an advocate! The location of the apartment was perfect. Safe and away from the noise, yet walking distance to historical sites, restaurants, and shopping.
