Beautiful garden with wonderful koi pond, temple and tea room. Staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Room was a fantastic size, especially compared to some of the rooms on offer in more central Tokyo.

The location of the hotel is slightly out of the way but, to be honest, it is still very easy to travel to given the great transport links.

Gedateerde (bad)kamers die er daardoor smoezelig uit zien. Je kunt geen kopje koffie in de lounge drinken. Wat voor een westerling echt heel raar is.

It’s a good location / gardens are nice

The rooms - they’re not up to much, dated, small 70s style bathroom, and they smell. I think there has been a lot of smoking in the building. I also felt mislead - the pictures show much nicer looking rooms however, the reality was that our room was similar to an old fashioned travel lodge. Was v disappointed after spending. 70,000 yen (£369) for 2 nights. The staff did move us to a bigger room when we complained but still it was nothing special. The facilities are nice but the rooms do not match up! Wouldn’t stay here again - I think booking.com should make it more obvious that you are staying in an old hotel block attached to the much nicer main hotel and not show the nicer more modern rooms in the same hotel complex.

One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. Good location from Haneda airport and good transport links. Breakfast was included in our package - there was a choice of 3 restaurants for this- 2 were in a neighbouring hotel. We tried 2 of them out. One was a buffet and was excellent - the other was a set Japanese menu and was amazing. There are a number of other restaurants as well. Very courteous staff - we really enjoyed staying here.

Amazing hotel located very close to Shinagawa station that has easy train connections to Haneda airport and both east and west side of the city, including the bullet train. The level of luxury and comfort was beyond anything I expected and the service from the staff was always impeccable. We had an amazing view of the city and Tokyo tower and the gardens are a little pleasure that I didn't expect to love as much as I did. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in Tokyo.

The pillows were a bit firm but I believe that is just a preference in Japan. I have seen several reviews mentioning the building being old and while it is an older hotel I didn't feel that it ever took anything away from our stay, if anything it added to the overall charm

Die Lage war der Grund, dieses Hotel zu buchen. Das teure Frühstück haben wir nicht genommen, weil wir Zeit sparen wollten, um früher in unsere Ausflüge starten zu können. Zwischen den Hotels an dem Standort ist ein Garten mit Kirschbäumen, Teich, Teehäuschen etc., der sehr gepflegt ist. Auch mit Gepäck lässt sich der Weg zum Bahnhof mit mehreren Linien inkl. Shinkansen gut zu Fuß erreichen.

Das Hotel versprüht eher den Charme eines Business Hotels, was wir aber vorher gewusst haben und was uns nicht gestört hat.

My stay at the Hotel Grand Prince Takanawa was underwhelming and frustrating. The front desk staff were noticeably rude, lacking the professionalism you’d expect from a reputed establishment. The room itself was a letdown with torn curtains and a generally neglected feel, not in line with a 5-star property – it barely meets the standards of a 3-star hotel. Additionally, the absence of room service was a significant inconvenience. Disappointed, to say the least.

Disappointing Stay at Grand Prince Takanawa Regrettably, my experience at Grand Prince Takanawa fell far below expectations. The front desk staff were unwelcoming and indifferent, making check-in feel like a nuisance. To add to my dismay, the room was subpar, with torn curtains that looked unsightly and neglected. These fundamental issues tarnished the entirety of my stay. It's with disappointment that I cannot recommend Grand Prince Takanawa, as the service and room condition need serious attention. They don't have room service. Clearly its not a 5 star hotel.

Almost always stay here or at one of the other Prince hotels in Shinagawa

We really like the hotel and the location is perfect for us . After many years of staying there ,it may be in need of bit of a refurbishment in some areas . But generally it is great comfortable and ideally situated

Sehr gute Lage in der Nähe der Shinkansen und JR-Station Shinagwa...sehr schön ist auch der Hotelgarten sowie die Bar.

Wij waren op doorreis en dit was ons eerste hotel na een lange vlucht. De mensen die er werken zijn erg vriendelijk. Wij konden bij aankomst nog niet inchecken, omdat we veel te vroeg waren. Gelukkig konden wij onze bagage stallen. Toen wij hadden ingecheckt werd onze bagage naar onze kamer gebracht.

De kamer is wat gedateerd, maar wel erg schoon en prettig.

天井の高さと空気感、気の良さ、香りもとても落ち着きました^_^

バスとトイレは 別であるとより嬉しいです^_^

做事很认真，程序化是优点，但过犹不及是缺点，由于自身粗心，IPAD在退房时遗失在酒店，希望通过邮件委托确认快递到付的形式到日本友人处，不可以! 日本友人持委托书到酒店去拿，不可以! 必须本人去！难道为了个IPDA去日本拿？

It’s 800m from Shinagawa station, would recommend a taxi if you have a lot of luggage because it’s uphill.

l'emplacement de l'hôtel à 10mn à pied de la gare de Shinagawa: très pratique pour toutes les connections la chambre King-Size Deluxe - Étage Supérieur avec vue sur le jardin est grande , lumineuse,avec une vue très dégagée. Grand placard pour y ranger toutes ses affaires : pratique qd vous restez une semaine. le petit dejeuner tres bien avec un bon choix et une large vue sur le jardin un des restaurants /bar avec vue sur le jardin

la salle de bain un peu vieillotte et la chambre lit king size superieure avec vue sur la ville que j'avais réservé au début de mon séjour est trop petite : on ne peut pas ouvrir une grosse valise.... personnel plutôt froid
