Good sushi restaurant in the hotel.

Gosh, where to start… Staff just plain rude. Beach diner was busy, chaotic, overpriced and food just average. Room was small and had a horrid musty smell. Toilet was insanely loud when flushing. Furniture old and tired. Balcony unkempt. Pool area so very busy, unhelpful pool staff, no service for towels or drinks. Cleaning ladies all around rude and grumpy. The list goes on… We booked for three nights. Checked out after one and went back to The Ritz-Carlton down the road.

Lovely location. Clean, large room, nicely decorated. Beautiful beach area. Wonderful view from the beach, magical, clean turquoise water. I enjoyed the music outside my first night. Nice TV with a lot of channels. Very nice, capable staff.

It's so expensive it's really painful. I paid $700 a night for a room with a view of a busy street and breakfast was not included. Even a coffee with milk was about $5.50. I didn't want to eat much because of the cost.

for approx 1200 usd a night this is what we got: spectacular location fantastic and attentive staff bingo great people watching ambience beautiful decor in lobby. fantastic entryway.

room with 2 full beds were standard. nothing extraordinary considering the cost no coffee machine in the room no free shuttle to/from airport or to/from downtown missing items. ie: we had to call 2x to get 2 robes and 2 slippers for my friend and I. neighbours eaten room service tray (filled with leftover food) sat all day next to our door. we had to call to get it removed. changed room 2x to get something worth our 1200 usd. former room bathroom was very dated. beach waitstaff. overall amazing. however we kept being told by one wait staff person that we weren’t in his area therefore couldn’t serve us. even though he gladly accepted orders from behind and in front of us. wasn’t sure that that was about. because we were very friendly not demanding people lol.

Pool size, proximity to the beach, staff was extremely attentive.

The resort is SO expensive, it seems like there should be more included in that cost (breakfast, cabanas, pool toys, etc.)
