I chose the place for the brand and location

- I booked two rooms for 4 people paid 6k. For such a luxury hotel the toilet flush was not working. We called in the plumber who could not help. Then we resorted to filling up bucket of water and flushing it. Poor facilties. - There is no safe in the room which is standard in most hotels - The hotel building is breaking down and definitely needs a rebuild. - On top of this, they charged me 1000 per person as I had only booked for single occupancy.

Located very close to the heart of the city, Extremely well maintained, very courteous staff, excellent breakfast.

The travel desk can be a bit more professional. We had to call them a few times for hiring a car

the staff was helpful and hospitable. The breakfast spread was good.

old and aging. the upholstery, amenities, flooring, switchboards, furniture need a major upgrade as the hotel is situated on prime real estate and is charging a premium rate

bathroom needs refurbishing. there were small patches of black mould on the door and the shower could be cleaner.

had to wait 1 hour for rooms even though i arrived at 2 pm. Shower and health faucet V poor. Bar - service by pool poor staff not intrested . For price paid no in room slippers or shaving kit staff are courteoues security staff b fast 7 am restaurant boy good. there was no water bottle in the room had to call and ask.

cleanliness and proximity to city centres

As far the Breakfat -- not bad but the same items everyday. Tastewise I would expect a little more ---for vada. you can make them crispy. Mineral water without label was a concern on quality and safety. Otherwise breakfast was good better than many comparable hotels that I have been to.

A club where coffee and snacks supplied all through the day. Food and beverages are a bit expensive and I did not get any discount where as I get usually at other hotels.

Staff are excellent and did everything to make our stay comfortable. The hotel is in a great location. Rooms are lovely, breakfast was great, and the staff really made the trip special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Chennai
