We arrived on Friday to this clean, well equipped, beautifully quaint home for our ladies’ get-away weekend. It was perfect! So close to the many attractions, shops & restaurants in the area.

My family and I had a great time, there was enough room, it was very close to the ski slopes.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time staying here this fall. There was plenty of space to spread out. From the complimentary bottle of wine to the comfortable beds, sofas, and blankets, to the host’s suggestions for restaurants and activities, it felt like staying at a friend’s home. The backyard was beautiful, and I enjoyed sitting out there and reading after going on a nearby hike and checking out the town center.

Place is as it is described. It is cozy, clean and lots of room. We were happy with our stay! Owner keeps in good communication as well. I want to mention the area is amazing for people who are gluten and/or dairy free. Many places for breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts to eat at!

This is such a lovely home! It is older (the owner, Mary, told me it was built circa 1926), but this only adds to the charm. It is beautifully decorated, and spacious. The photos are a very good representation of the way the house looks inside. The ground floor has a living room, a formal dining room, a large master bedroom with bath, a central area with a sitting/reading nook, a large kitchen, a family room and an informal dining area. There is also a screened in porch, nicely furnished. The upstairs has two bedrooms, each with twin beds. There is one bathroom in one of these bedrooms that is to be shared by both bedrooms. The stairs are steep, and might not be easy for some people to navigate. The beds are VERY comfortable, downstairs and up! The kitchen is amply stocked with the items (pots and pans, cooking utensils, silverware, etc.) you might need to cook a meal. There is a coffee maker and an electric tea kettle. The washer and dryer are located in the basement, also with steep stairs to navigate. The back yard is well-treed and private...very pretty. Although the house is on a busy road, none of the four of us who stayed in the house had any trouble whatsoever with road noise. As others have stated, Mary has thoughtfully placed many sound machines all over the house, and they really do block the sound of traffic. Our stay was peaceful. The location is very handy to stores and restaurants in the Lennox and Pittsfield areas. Mary was very accessible to answer my questions. She walked me through the house over the phone as soon as we were inside, which was very helpful. I would recommend this lovely rental to anyone who does not have knee or hip problems. I do, however, my husband and I slept in the downstairs bedroom, and so stairs were no issue, and it really worked well for us. We just let the young ones take the upstairs bedroom. 😊 Thank you, Mary, for your helpfulness and attention to detail.

Very attractive house that looked just like the images on vrbo. The process was very easy. The house had just about everything for a comfortable stay. It is on route 20, often a very busy, fast moving street. My husband refused to make a left hand turn into the driveway so we had to drive out of our way to turn into the drive! It’s in a great location to get anywhere in the area.

Mary's place is lovely. I have never stayed at a home rental where I felt more at home. No detail is spared -- I even found green tea when I went looking. The king-size bed in the master bedroom is extremely comfortable, as is the furniture. The bathroom downstairs looked to be newly renovated. Forgot your toothbrush or need moisturizer? Some is conveniently left for you. The decor in every room is soothing and beautiful. Loved the artwork in the kitchen. Yes, the property is on a busy road, but there are air purifiers and sound machines in every room that create a comforting and distracting background. We loved the view out the back windows towards the mountains, and we saw a red-headed woodpecker right by the windows. A delightful stay for the two of us; all that you could want or expect, and then some! Thanks, Mary.

House is very comfortable and clean. Noise canceling (air purifiers) in every room to block noise from very busy Rte 20. Second upstairs bathroom is in one of the 2 bedrooms not adjoining to both rooms.

I enjoyed this property because it was easy and quick to get to the venues we were interested in. It is on Rte 20, and there is a lot of traffic. None of us were bothered and we had the windows open. Very roomy, and we did not trip over one another. I would rent again for the family

The house was very clean when we entered. It was a perfect set up with plenty of space. The furniture was inviting and the bedding was so comfy! Even though the house was located on a busy road, it was barely noticeable. I was worried when we pulled up. Working with the owner was a breeze! Mary was super friendly and accommodating! We had a wonderful stay at Mary's property in Lenox. The house was beautiful and had a great amount of space for our family. The home was extremely clean, very well appointed, and the beds were so comfortable. The location was central to everything that we were looking to do and almost all of the activities that we enjoyed (snow tubing at Bousquet mountain, snowshoeing at Pleasant Valley, shopping in Lenox) were at most, 5-10 minutes away. Mary was very helpful with suggestions for area attractions and restaurants and was very responsive to any question that we had. We had a great time and would definitely stay at this property again.

This was the perfect home for a socially distanced Christmas. It was big enough where we were all able to enjoy our Christmas dinner together but far enough apart. Mary even had a Christmas tree set up, which was such a nice surprise. Very comfortable accommodations and a beautiful home.

We enjoyed our stay and we’re happy with the cleanliness of the unit. The house is located on a very busy street so the noise is quite loud at all times. House is fully equipped.

Except that the house was right on a busy road It was nice. We enjoyed a charming town of Lenox.

The home was clean and comfortable with easy access to Lenox and other surrounding towns. Mary was an informative and responsive host. She gave us excellent suggestions for places to visit and to eat. She promptly took care of an issue that arose. I didn’t expect that the house was right on a major road. Mary provided white noise machines in bedrooms and living/dining rooms to minimize disturbance. We mostly stayed in the back rooms which were quiet. We had a very relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this property in Lenox. It is very centrally located and about 5-10 minutes from everything. The house itself is very well stocked with all essentials, which made us feel more at home. The AC was very effective during the hot week we stayed there. We especially loved the sunroom. Beautiful views of nature while we sipped our coffee or evening cocktails. We used the grill almost every night and ate outside in the beautiful backyard! Things to know- it is located on a busy road, but you can’t hear the traffic from inside the home. Mary and her family are very lovely and answer texts/emails promptly. Overall highly recommend!

The home was fabulous-very clean, great location and cozy.

Mary (host) was very friendly and welcoming to my party for our after Christmas stay in the Berkshires. Her house was clean and cozy and had adequate space for 5 adults and 1 preschooler. House is on a busy main road; however, there were hardly any noise disturbances, and was fairly close to supermarkets and other area attractions. There was a minor issue with the water system, but Mary was in constant communication and called in for repairs, which addressed the issue. Overall, a lovely stay and a very generous host.

4 adults and 2 teens stayed at this comfortable Lenox home near Pittsfield. The teens snowboarded at Jiminy Peak locates 35 min. Away. We enjoyed family styled dinners and breakfasts at the large round dining table off the kitchen. The temperature of the house was comfortable even on some very cold days. The owner, Mary, was extremely helpful with suggestions of things to do and even emailed links of current activities going on in the area. Overall, our winter trip to the Berkshires was one of the bests. This home made us feel like being home.

We had a great stay. Well equipped kitchen and really comfortable beds. Lots of room to spread out. It is on a busy street but inside the house we didn’t hear much noise and slept well. Location is hard to beat.

The home looked MUCH BIGGER on the website. The second floor bedrooms were of ample size but the ceilings followed the roofline and the 2 people that stayed up there kept hitting their heads on the ceiling. There was no heat in one of the upstairs bedrooms so the occupant of that room had to leave the upstairs bathroom door open to warm the room. All in all the house was clean, the linens soft and luxurious and the beds very comfortable. There was one small problem with an outlet. The owner called an electrician and it was fixed almost immediately. The property is on a very busy road with lots of very loud trucks passing by in the middle of the night. We were all woken up by road noise but since the property was close to where we needed to be I would stay there again.

We had an amazing time staying here! The owner was lovely & she had thought of everything! We’ll definitely stay here again!!
