Great location. Really nice room. Food was nice
The staff in the hotel/bistro were rude and arrogant and didn’t care about their customers. As a former hotel owner none of them would have lasted 5 minutes working for me with their attitude and lack of customer service

The rooms were modern and tidy
Non smoking venue, I had to endure the smoker from next door if I wanted to use the balcony or keep the door open.

We often stay here . This time stayed in the top floor/sea view rooms . The rooms were quite small but didn’t seem so because of the balcony . And the view was great.
The only problem we had was when we wanted a pre-dinner drink in the sports bar, the balcony there that has great views was closed for a private function. And our friend who was also staying there couldn’t handle the high chairs/stools . So we went elsewhere otherwise we would have had dinner there.

Stayed here prior to travelling to Heron Island and is was ideal for a short stay. The meals were good.

Clean and comfortable ground floor room which suited us as my husband is on crutches atm
Small issue only. Room 6 the toilet cistern drips all day and night which is annoying so we turned off the tap to the cistern so we could sleep without the dripping noise.

Such friendly, professional and helpful staff, very comfortable bed/room. Hotel has all the facilities you need and a great little roof top swimming pool.
This was just a ‘stepping stone’ for us to break up journey to Cairns but we loved the area and lovely walks to seafront/marina and spinnaker park. If you don’t wish to eat at hotel there is a fabulous Italian restaurant within walking distance, although we did eat at hotel one night too and it was lovely.
You can guarantee a very warm welcome here 😊

location was great. everything is in close walking distance. bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
pillows where not comfortable and we where looking forward to swimming in the pool until we saw it. The pool has a dirty ring around it. unfortunately didn’t look nice to swim in at all.
