loved the small kitchen in our room, loved the pool, great proximity to beach and rest of resort

All we needed for our overnight stay.

room has a good layout plus bathroom is good too.

the blinds are annoying because the carpark lights are always on and if someone was to walk past when the blinds are moving they can see us.

The room was clean, comfortable and convenient location.

The lady on reception was so SO rude, uninviting and made me feel like my family and I were a burden being there. She got angry when I asked for 3 bowls and spoons, she almost threw the extra towels at me and accused me of letting my kids make a mess on the floor before we had even entered the room. We had just driven 900kms in a day, I was exhausted and had no time to look for alternative accommodation. The shower drain was blocked and flooded the bathroom but I didn’t dare tell her because I didn’t feel like being yelled at again!

Simple but comfortable and well appointed room. The owners are really friendly. It is very close to the city center and walking distance to the shops. Perfect for a night or two. This was our second time staying in this motel on our way to Heron Island. We certainly recommend it.

Great family room. Comfortable beds. Clean, fresh linen. Nice pool. Quiet location but close to everything.

Shower head was bit wobbly.

The staff did not ask for our covid information until when we wanted to use the pool. She should have explained all the required information from the start when I checked in. We had all our covid results ready to show but she did not ask. I think there's fleas in the beds as my son and I had flea bites.
