Not a lot.

Room, not able to shut the window to keep the traffic noise out from the very busy road. Not able to flush the toilet on the morning we left. Disappointed with the breakfast facilities, had to ask for bread, milk gone sour in the coffee machine, needed a good clean. Didn’t have a cooked breakfast due to the appearance of the chef, very untidy and kept going out for a smoke.

It had a fan in the room as it was very hot

Room to small,not enough teabags etc in room Long way to the room apparently the furthest away .Breakfast between 7.00am. to 9.00am but went for breakfast at 7.55 .Room to where breakfast was locked When we did get in ,no milk ,no hot water in machine for hot drinks ,no bread ,drinks still in cartons not jugs Embrasssing to keep requesting items And the breakfast looked nice ,shame it was cold except for the egg

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, fresh and very comfortable, when I said I don't drink Tea or Coffee I was given drinking chocolate and bottled water for my room. I would recommend The Vernon to everyone

The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful, food was great, really enjoyed breakfast. Room was comfortable and quiet.

I was welcomed like a favourite aunty! Aggie greeted me by finding me a seat and getting me a coffee to warm me up on the coldest night of the year. I found The Vernon quite by accident, as the place I was staying at on the following night in Stratford was fully booked, but I am certainly planning to go back again. Great service, lovely food, a huge breakfast and so welcoming. Better facilities than some of the large chain hotels at half the price!
