In general, the apartment was very modern and tidy and we really appreciated little conveniences like the electronic blackout curtains, the proximity to public transportation, and the free water bottle provided for us in the fridge. The hosts were responsive and helpful, accommodating our late check-in and late check-out, and even offering to potentially store our luggage for us so that we could be more mobile on our last day before our evening flight.

There are several things that disappointed us about our stay. For starters, the apartment was uncomfortably hot, even with the AC and fan running, which was quite bizarre given that it was cold and rainy outside. Second, the toilet in the bathroom sprays water all over the seat and floor every time you flush, regardless of whether the seat is closed. Third, the apartment is conveniently located near public transportation, but guests should know that it is also situated in one of the most crime-ridden parts of Luxembourg, and there are many people who will be out loitering on the streets and making noise at all hours through the night. Lastly, while we appreciated the hosts accommodating our late check-in, we were very frustrated by the 40 euro charge for this service. We understand that it may be inconvenient when guests arrive late, but 40 euros is exorbitant (~a 25% increase on the price we were paying per night) and it was only after we had made our nonrefundable booking that you shared this information. In the future, all fees and their exact amounts should be listed in your property description so as to allow guests for guests to make informed decisions on whether or not these terms are acceptable *prior* to making their booking - not once they're locked in and facing another charge.

Die Lage war gut. Man ist schnell in der Stadt und der Bahnhof liegt nur ein paar Meter von der Wohnung entfernt. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet. Wir waren bei der Schlüsselübergabe knapp dran, da keinen Parkplatz gefunden haben. Der Gastgeber hat geduldig auf uns gewartet. Dies habe ich geschätzt! Auch hat er sich Zeit genommen uns Sachen in der Wohnung zu erklären - leider Sprach er kein Deutsch oder Englisch. Eine Flasche Wasser war im Kühlschrank bereit gestellt - nette Geste!

Parkplätze gibt es in der Nähe, jedoch zwischen 2 bis 5 Stunden maximum tagsüber. Ab 18Uhr bis 8 Uhr ist das Parkieren gratis. Alternativ is das Park and Ride am Bahnhof für ca. 20EUro pro Tag. Dies war mir nicht bewusst. Die Wohnung wurde als "Luxury Apartment" verkauft, war schön, aber nur standardmässig eingerichtet! Es gab kein Whirlpool - nur eine Wanne mit Düsen, wovon einige nicht funktioniert haben. Der kleine Knopf am Spülkasten des Wcs hat nicht funktioniert. Matratze war hart und unbequem - nicht zum Einsenken. In der Küche fehlten Abtrocktücher sowie Starterpack wie Öl, Pfeffer, Salz etc... Auch war das Zimmer nicht schalldicht wie angepriesen.
