We didn't have hot water, the manager of the hotel (who wasn't even there) didn't want to help us or compensate us for the terrible time we had there. Although the receptionists themselves tried to help us repair the hot water, but it wasn't possible. Also, the facilities weren't really clean. We did hear everything from the rooms around, really bad isolated. The price was really high for what we got as a room and, overall, we didn't have help to solve the problem of the hot water, we did shower with really cold water. We were there just for a night and was really disappointing.

Although it was next to a motorway. The sound proofing was 1st class. And I have to say, I have stayed in many hotels, their beds were so comfortable I slept really well.

the hotel ticked all the boxes for a one night stay, however there are hardly any taxis in la rochelle.

Practical location very close to the bridge of Ile de Ré. Very simple hotel, but confortable enough.

Some fixture could be updated, especially in the bathroom, and the bedsheets, although clean, were stained. A bit expensive for what it is, but I guess it's the high season price to expect.

Close to centre

The rooms need a make over.
