A quirky place (if you stay in the hideaway) to stay that is a 5 min walk from the Old Port and Market. Olivier was very attentive and the perfect host. Breakfast was superb and the house is an amazing place to be based for a stay in La Rochelle.

My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon in La Rochelle and were delighted to have chosen Entre Hotes as our location to celebrate. The host, Olivier was incredibly welcoming, friendly, attentive, and had a wealth of knowledge about the area.
The accommodation itself is very tidy and situated in a beautiful traditional French guesthouse in the heart of La Rochelle and near every amenity and attraction possible. 5 minute walk to the port, the beach, the markets. Literally in the middle of everything you would want to see. The location was excellent.
We stayed in the private room to the rear of the property and had our own private entrance and exit as well as sun loungers and a picturesque terrace surrounded by flowers for our breakfast. The room was very tidy and cleaned regularly during our stay. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure was strong, and the bath was very spacious and romantic. The breakfast was brought to us by Olivier every morning and was a delicious variety of breads, pastries, cheese, yoghurt, fresh fruit, fresh juice and coffee. It was a great way to start every day. La Rochelle itself is best explored by walking or cycling, and the location really enabled us to enjoy it to the full extent!
Entre Hotes is truly is an authentic experience and I would advise anyone visiting La Rochelle to consider this location. When we return to La Rochelle, we will be back to this spot! Merci Olivier!

Location was excellent and additional use of private parking fantastic . Decor lovely and friendly host . Breakfast outside very pleasant .
Different fruit for breakfast as same offered each of the three days . Facilities offered included garden but could not access in the afternoon when wanted to use as access locked if host not available

Location was spot on as a short walk to the restaurants and harbour and park. We made use of the garage for our motorcycle. Olivier was a great host , the breakfast was lovely sat in the garden in the cool of the morning . He went out of way to advise for places to eat etc and we must thank him for the loan of ironing board and iron which was in great demand .

The "hobbit cave" which has been made from the old wine cellar at the end of the garden is one of the most original rooms we have stayed in. Olivier was the perfect host, delivering an amazing Continental breakfast every morning. We had our own sun deck and reading area and easy access through the back gate, near to his private garage where we parked our car. The house was within easy walking distance of the town, bars and harbour.

Olivier was very helpful and welcoming. We absolutely enjoyed staying in this lovely and quiet room. We would definitely come back if we go back to La Rochelle and would recommend it to anyone who wishes to stay there.

The Owner was so helpful and friendly, he helped us with our luggage, he gave us a brief history of the house which was nice. The front of La Rochelle was just around the corner so ideal location. Breakfast was nice and all set out in the garden for us. Would definitely recommend this property.

The host was very friendly and told us a bit about the house. The room was old, with high ceilings and an excellent bathroom and comfy bed. The breakfast, served in the lovely garden, was exceptional.
Check-in was from 18:00, which is a bit late.

The most stunning place. The room was just incredible, only made better by Olivier being the most perfect host with an eye for the detail. The breakfast itself deserved an award. Walking distance to everywhere as well! If you stay in La Rochelle stay here - we were blown away
