reception staff a little rude, wasn’t allowed into room before 2 although the room was ready, reception didn’t seek me out to tell me room was available had to go search for reception staff, on check out reception commented about my extras bill without knowing circumstances - totally unacceptable and unprofessional. the hotel doesn’t offer transport from airport this is a simple task, as I was coming from Singapore wasn’t a problem but if I’d have come on a long haul flight this would have been disappointing.

We got suprised by the customer service and the hospitality given by the staff here. At the reception they gave us an upgrade, That's the first WOW. Then the facilities in the room was WOW. The location to town it's so close and at a walking distance there is a best SPA place in Chiangmai. I've learnt something about how empathy is such an important thing. When we checked out, i was waiting for Grab. after a few minutes, the hotel staff, realized somehow that I'm struggling. She came to me and asked me how she can help me. She called the Grab person and solved the problem, even when i didn't ask for help. WOW.. this is something I will never forget. I'm so touched by the warmness and the empathy shown to us.

The room aircond made the room so dry. Because of that, we struggled sleeping in the room at night. We had to switch of the aircond and suddenly there were mosquitoes is the room. I think, if there is a Ceiling or a wall fan, this problem can be solved.

Location was great as it was within walking distance to the attraction spots. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room met our expectations and breakfast was lovely. They also have afternoon activities for hotel guests which was quite fun. My friend enjoyed the ice shaving task.

we stayed at both akara hotels in Chiangmai and found them both excellent- really helpful staff, great facilities and everything we asked for (e.g an early taxi to airport - with a packed breakfast provided) was sorted quickly and efficiently

we enjoyed our stay at this boutique resort it was very pretty with great gardens. Breakfast was good and the location handy for restaurants etc nice pool area. lovely bathrooms and the staff where helpful.

Lovely property centrally located. Rooms and bathrooms are good size. Pool is heated. Short walk to markets and tourist attractions.

stayed 4days. great location, right in the heart of the city yet so quiet place, and beautifully designed property with excellent breakfast choices and helpful and friendly staff.
