The property was in an excellent location and very close to all the main tourist attractions and shops within Chester. The property was clean, spacious and comfortable. Kitchen,laundry and bathroom facilities are excellent. Whilst close to the town centre the area that the property is in is off the main thoroughfare and is very quiet at all times of the day and night.

There was nothing about the property that we did not like!

Great central location but still very quiet and private. Free parking nearby recommended by host was easy to find and worked brilliantly for us. Comfy beds and good shower. Had everything we needed for a couple days’ stay.

It is a period property so spaces are small and kitchen/bathroom a little tired in places. Didn’t detract from our stay though and other guests will no doubt find these aspects add to the charm.

centrally positioned, it was located in a very nice and cosy arcade/garden, easy access, Rod made it possible for us to check in much earlier than anticipated, as we attended a wedding in Chester and needed to change. the cottage was very clean and super cosy, we found some fruits when we arrived in the kitchen area, towels in the bathroom. the kitchen was equipped with everything you may need.

the ground floor was quite cold (we arrived in March) and one of the upper rooms as well. there is a very steep staircase to the upper floor where the rooms are and there is only one bathroom at the ground floor, so tough with kids in the night or the elderly

Gorgeous little cottage with so much charm and beautifully decorated. The cottage had been cleaned to a high standard. The location was perfect. The beds were so comfortable. Rod was extremely helpful and very nice to talk to. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent location, so close to Chester city centre but hidden away so peaceful and quiet! Great pubs and restaurants in very short walking distance

Baby equipment wasn't great. High chair missing the table, and cot didn't go up work properly, but we made do for the couple of nights we were there (owner did say he would look at it as soon as I mentioned it)

Location is perfect! Cottage is cosy and quaint. Bedrooms were fantastic, and the beds amazing.I really loved staying here.

I'm only 5ft tall and the kitchen cupboards are all very high, meaning I couldn't reach any of them. But understand this is just how the cottage is built.

Really good location, just inside city walls, close to good pubs and eateries. Nice quiet location with shared grassed area, useful for dogs.

Ideally could have parking outside, but there was free parking 2mins walk away and host provided resident parking permits.
