La posizione è ottima, il posto è raggiungibile solo a piedi. C'è una terrazza che affaccia sul Gange. La stanza e il bagno sono abbastanza puliti per gli standard trovati in India, anche le lenzuola. Lo staff è molto cordiale.

La stanza è piccola, ma funzionale per stare pochi giorni. L'acqua calda finisce dopo 15 minuti. Nella nostra stanza c'era un po di muffa, sicuramente dovuta alla vicinanza al fiume.

The location was outstanding, right next to the ghat. The room had a balcony overlooking the Ganges. The stay was excellent, and the staff, especially Ajay ji, took very good care of my needs. The homely food was to die for.

Wi-Fi network was weak in my room. Had trouble using the Internet.

No value for money: the rooms are more than basic, the beds are hard and we had to ask for some (stained) sheets. Nobody told us about the presence of monkeys at night: some were sitting in front of the door of our room and there were more than 12 on our terrace, being very noisy and fighting with each other during the night. A very unpleasant experience which could have been dangerous as monkeys can be aggressive!

Location is awesome.

Cleanliness of the room

Pamiętajmy, że oceniany obiekt to Rest House a nie hotel i w takiej kategorii go oceniamy.. jednak żaden z hoteli w których byłem w Indiach nie dorównywał temu miejscu. Pokój mały i skromny (bo takiego szukałem) ale utrzymany w czystości. Przewietrzony i z otwartymi oknami (okna zabezpieczone siatką) więc brak przykrego zapachu jak w pokojach hotelowych bez okien a jedynie z klimatyzacją. Hostel w centrum starego miasta nad samym Gangesem. Pomimo, że uliczki w centrum starego miasta (i nie tylko w centrum) nie dają odpocząć z uwagi na mnogość skuterów to Tu jest inaczej - cisza, spokój i Ganges. Tu było cicho! choć pewnie brzmi to trywialnie.. Super lokalizacja! Personel przyjął mnie późna nocą (23:??) i wyjechałem bardzo wcześnie rano (04:??) - żadnych problemów. Pani z recepcji pomogła mi w sprawie związanej z zagubiona kartą płatniczą. Personel sympatyczny i pomocny - bardzo duży plus dla personelu. Ogólnie obiekt oceniam bardzo dobrze.

Vista mozzafiato, posizione super. I tuk tuk non arrivano qui ma si arriva a piedi in max 5 minuti dalla strada principale, ne vale la pena perché almeno si è fuori dal caos!! Vicinissimo ai principali ghat, stanza pulita e anche il cibo ottimo.

La nostra finestra era attaccata ad un piccolo tempio e una notte non abbiamo dormito molto perché stavano facendo delle cerimonie. Purtroppo parlavano a voce alta😅. Ma questo fa parte del viaggio e di Varanasi😍! In ogni caso lo consiglio!

Bathroom could do with updating and was very small. Boat noise is quite loud from river. Its a bit hard to find from the alleys.

The stay at Vishnu is truly exceptional. The rooms, though basic, are delightful. What makes them unique is that each one opens onto a terrace or veranda, eliminating the need for a 'River-facing Room View.' Every room offers a fantastic view once you step out onto the terrace. The place exudes charm, being one of the oldest guest houses in Varanasi. Pravin, the owner and host, is a kind and knowledgeable gentleman who goes out of his way to ensure your stay is comfortable. The staff is incredibly helpful. The location is fantastic, with all the key points of interest, ghats, and markets within a pleasant walking distance. Whether you are a budget traveler or not, a stay at Vishnu Guest House will certainly charm you.

The plug point in my room was not working, the rooms have done up recently. So guess could have been teething problems.

Location: you can't go out or come in the guest house after 10 pm as the receptionist told us because of the drunk goons that live in the properties next to the guest house and on the way to the guest house and they pick up fights with the guests. Cleanliness: the room was damp which smelled Hot water: no hot water was coming in the shower even though they said that it will come but later when it didn't come even after 2 people had already showered after waiting for an hour, they tell us that this particular room has no hot water. Overall the room really ruined the stay. Blankets were very itchy.

The bed is not clean. Suffocation in the room. No facility for food or for snacks. Took gst but didn't give any bill. The rate is high but the room is full of suffocation.

We loved the location. Being able to sit up on the balcony and watch the activity below on the ghats was a highlight for us. It was close to everything we needed.

The fan wasn't very good and there was another huge fan but it was incredibly loud, so couldn't be on at night. My son found the bed very hard and slept poorly

They were under constraction, it wasnt really clean and the price was high considering all these. A lot of times we couldnt find someone at reception and they didnt offer all the services they said they do as boat trips.

The view from this place is incredible. It is right on the Ganga and we were so impressed with such an incredible view in the heart of varanasi. The staff were helpful 🙂

The rooms were a little hot but nothing that wasn't manageable, we also had an issue with being locked in early in the morning, so make sure you ask someone the night before to leave it open for you.
