I cannot say enough amazing things about this rental. The house is perfectly situated 0.25 miles from the base of Snow Summit. My family and I visited in the summer to do some downhill biking and this short walk made it easy to travel back to the house for snack breaks! The interior of the house gives off a cozy cabin feel, while the large floor to ceiling windows upstairs really make you feel like you're in a tree house. The ability to store our bikes in the converted garage/game room was a selling point for us. If you travel in the winter for Snow activities, there is plenty of storage there for any wet boots/skis/snowboards. This is a great place to check out if you are traveling to the Snow Summit area. We will definitely be keeping it on our list for future visits.

The checkin process was a breeze. When we got in the home it was plenty of space for the whole family, several adults, teens and babies. They had plenty of space inside and out for everyone to spread out. The home was very cozy, beautiful kitchen. Good outdoor space. The home was in a great location, really quiet neighborhood. There is a sound curfew in Big Bear so I highly recommend being mindful of the neighbors, we did get notified about the noise. But overall it was a beautiful experience. Close to all stores and not too far from the lake and hiking. Will definitely recommend to anyone.

This home felt like each detail of the home was carefully thought out, a home made to be what a person would want to make this the most homey comfortable getaway. I was amazed by how well stocked this home was from bathroom to kitchen. So much that I had to leave all the drawers and cabinets open when I put the dishes away because there was that much. It was a cookers dream kitchen which my husband loves to do. The owner was super nice and good at communicating. Location is walking distance to Summit though maybe not with heavy snow gear. Will stay here again

We really enjoyed renting this house. The location was perfect. The house itself was clean, upgraded and exactly as listed. We went with our family and in multiple children . Two being in pack and plays. There was plenty of room, and the kids had a blast playing in the yard. We really appreciated the attention to detail like the drawer of plastic plates and utensils for the kids. We will definitely be coming back to this house again. Thank you!

Loved our family time here so much. It really was a 2 minute walk to snow summit which made things SO easy. Lots of nice beds for the kids. Kitchen was amazing. Heater worked great and communication with owner was superb. They were very accommodating and absolutely wonderful. Would stay here again and again.

This house is in a great location just a short walk from the slopes. It’s comfortable, cozy, attractively decorated and immaculately clean. The hosts provided all the necessities and loads of extras, all top quality. It was a pleasure dealing with the owner, Laura, who was very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Summit Estates was perfect for our weekend getaway in the mountains. The home provided plenty of room for our group, and trucks. The location was amazing; it was only a few minute walk to the mountain. Laura was also a wonderful host. We hope this spot is open during our next trip up to big bear!

We were extremely fortunate to find this unique and charming cabin just minutes away from snow summit. I selected this out of the 15-20 others I looked at based on location, design of the place, quality of furnishings based on the pictures and price - it was not the cheapest but I know my family expects a higher quality and this did not disappoint. We just fell in love with the cozy living area and sat on the counter and around the fireplace enjoying the welcome wine bottle and cheese and crackers. It was perfect. Our family did run into problems with the size of downstairs bedrooms but it was just our family issue. The host was very so responsive, accommodating and flexible. Many many thinks. We loved the tastefully designed place and attention to every detail. Anything we needed was there and was of the highest quality. The turquoise towels just won us over - I am so fussy about the quality of the towels and carried my own but now want to switch to this new brand 😊. Thanks so much Laura for everything.

Our family spent New Years week at the Lodge. It’s very convenient to Snow Summit resort & ski lifts for skiing then returning home for lunch & down time. The Great Room & kitchen are lovely and I enjoyed cooking in the large open space (and husband grilling just outside the kitchen on the porch). The beds were very comfortable, the garage & mud room holds all the ski gear and the neighborhood is very quiet. We loved it and will stay again on our next Big Bear Lake California trip. The owners & house manager are very kind and responsive!

We enjoyed a long weekend celebrating two milestone birthdays! The house is beautiful & very clean. Has a wonderful kitchen that is fully equipped with everything you may need. Such a great location for skiing, hiking, or going into the village. Laura was not only very friendly, efficient , & accommodating…but let us know what activities were happening during our stay. We stayed in the cabin for a long weekend to celebrate my friend's upcoming wedding. It's in a great location, close to the village and all the hiking trails. The cabin itself is spacious, with plenty of bedrooms for us to spread out, but also feels cozy enough for us to congregate and chat. The host, Laura, was very communicative, friendly, and accomodating. She was always a text away if we had questions or concerns. We'd definitely stay here again next time we're in beautiful Big Bear.

Stayed for 4 nights with family and enjoyed our vacation. Seamless experience checking in/out, host is proactive and takes time to connect and follow-up in a timely manner. The property is beautiful and well equipped to meet needs of a family.

Found this lovely home, and sent a message to the owner, Laura. Oh my gosh, she responded almost immediately and was SO ACCOMMODATING to us! We hoped we could get into the home early and she was super communicative and was able to get us in the house as soon as the cleaning crew had wrapped up. The only downfall for us was the beautiful fireplace in the center of the home, that was a bit hazardous for the two 1 year olds roaming around. Then I tripped on it and broke a toe, officially bringing an end to our very unfortunate vacation. Again, Laura was so lovely, and refunded us a night that we weren’t going to get to use. Overall, wonderful home and host. Maybe better for a family with a bit older kids (or better than us haha).

We loved staying at Summit Estates and we are already planning our next trip back! The house was spotless and cozy. The location was ideal —just a short walk to the slopes. Also very close to the Village Shops, which we also loved. The communication by the owner was phenomenal. I can't say enough good things about our experience and we can't wait to come back.

The house was one of the most will stocked houses I've ever rented. Since we planned to cook quite a bit, especially with kids, it was so great to have so many things available. Location was beyond convenient. Walking up to Snow Summit was a pleasure vs having to sit in traffic or deal with the shuttles. Laura was great to communicate with! Would rent this house again.

This home was exactly what we looking for. We wanted a home where we could spread out. Traveling with our grandchildren, it was great that they had their own space downstairs. We hosted some extended family for dinner. The kitchen was large and we could have several cooks in the kitchen at one time. This kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The property was centrally located and really close to the village. The owner was extremely accommodating. We look forward to renting this home again!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Summit Estates. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was amazing—fully stocked with everything we needed, and so much counter space! Laura was a wonderful host, and had great communication throughout our whole stay. Our toddlers were never bored, since there was a closet full of toys and games that were available. The TV had cable, Amazon Prime, Hulu, YouTube and Netflix for our night time lounging. We would love to come back when it snows. This cabin is right around the corner from Summit. Thank you, Laura!

This lovely cabin was perfect for our family birthday celebration. Everything you could possibly need is in the cabin, it was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Down to beautiful Dishes, glassware and home decor that's perfect for Big Bear! The host, Laura is wonderful, made us feel as if we were staying at the cabin of a dear friend!!

Pretty cabin with very well stocked kitchen. Great family room/kitchen layout. Bedrooms are on the smaller side with comfortable beds and pretty/cute decor. Owner was always available to communicate.

We had a fantastic four night trip to Big Bear and really loved this home. It's clearly been recently renovated, the kitchen and bathrooms are all super high end. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with every pot / pan / measuring cup / ect you could ever need. There's a great 2nd floor deck that we really loved sitting out on and watching the wildlife while enjoying a glass of wine. Kids had a blast playing foosball in the garage and running around outside. The owners are incredibly responsive, it's really nice to rent directly from the owners and not deal with some sort of management company. Thank you!

This is the second time we have stayed at one of the owners properties and continue to be blown away. The house was everything we were told it would be. It is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The location is simply amazing and loved that we could walk to the slopes. As always the communication with Laura is so easy. She responds quickly and provides you with all the information you could need.
