The property itself is alright, the location is nice in the country side. You do need a car though, it’s not possible to reach by public transport.

The service was definitely not 4-star worthy. We stayed at this hotel to attend a nearby wedding and made a simple request to reception: we needed an iron and board. I called reception and the girl said “ohh I’m not sure if we have one, I’ll call back”. She didn’t call back. So I called again. She said she asked housekeeping but they weren’t sure where the ONE iron they own had gone. I then went to reception to see if maybe she could offer another solution but she pretty much told me there is no iron and there was no other solution. One of my friends asked the same question and was told it wasn’t her problem. Frankly I’m stunned that a so-called 4-star hotel has only 1 iron and they don’t keep a log of where it goes, but I’m more appalled by the lack of service to resolve it. They could’ve gone out to purchase an iron (I don’t think that having 2 irons in a hotel is a luxury), or call one of the many other Fletcher hotels in the area to borrow one, but no it wasn’t their problem and that was it.. Eventually another friend brought his iron from home so my partner could iron his shirt on the bed. When I brought it up at check out all that was said was “yes we only have one iron, I don’t know where it is either” an apology was made and the receptionist couldn’t wait to get rid of us. This is not the level of service you should be able to expect from a 4-star hotel. It’s safe to say that I won’t be back, and I’ll try my best not to stay at Fletcher again in the future.

Great location. Perfect for relaxing and a bike ride in the nature. The staff was polite.

The room was not clean. Decor a bit dated. Dinner was too expensive for what was offered.

the rooms were very spacious and the view from the widow was very pretty. the location is lovely.
