The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were nice size, and the beds were comfortable. The bar was really nice with cozy sitting area after a long day. The breakfast area was beautiful, the buffet had everything one would wish for.
The towels were in a bit of sad shape.

We had a family night away in Cork city, this hotel hits all the right notes for a family stay. Staff were friendly, helpful, and presented as staff that enjoyed their work and were respected and treated well by management. Staff were kind and friendly with our children. Lovely rooms, simple, smart, and minimalist decor throughout, great breakfast. Great location in a residential area only minutes walk from city centre. We'll be back....

The location was very good. Th breakfast was very good. The swimming pool & spa was very good, apart from the towels, which were paper thin.
The bar closing times were very hit & miss which was very annoying when planning the evening. A hotel bar should be open to a reasonable time. They tended to push you out into the lobby at the end of the evening instead of letting you finish your drinks in the bar area - even though there were shutters on the bar counter.
The carpet in the room had brown stains on it and what looked like a cigarette burn.
The rooms were very noisey with banging doors.

the staff were so friendly and accommodating. the room was nice and clean. lovely breakfast and plenty of choice.

the room was exceptionally hot and the window only opened a little. It was a very uncomfortable night sleep due to the heat.

It was available last minute.
Overpriced, slow & unprofessional reception staff (one was eating a bun in my face upon arrival), and the pool was half taken up by swimming lessons for the entire stay. The steamroom was also useless.

It is a super nice hotel, with a good location. It is only a short 5 minute walk over the River Lee before you are in the city centre of Cork. The hotel is easy to get to by car and has many private parking spaces. Wifi worked perfectly during my stay.

Very accommodating restaurant wait staff, and front desk. Hotel location was very good,. Breakfast was extremely good, with a variety of delicious baked goods, fresh fruit, wonderful yogurts, and plenty of hot food choices. The breakfast area was bright, cheery and a welcoming place to begin the day.
Bathroom shower water was quite low pressure, but bathroom was very clean. If you forget to pack a shower cap, for your hair,, the front desk does not offer or sell a disposable one. This would be an easy and very inexpensive problem to solve!

It's walking distance to city centre so we were able to go out for dinner. Lucky because the dinner options in the hotel were terrible.
The family room was big with a double and two singles. There wasn't much noise in our room - we were at the end of a corridor on the top floor.
Not a good hotel for vegans as no dinner options and poor breakfast selection i.e. no hot food options, no margarine - there was almond milk though but nothing to have it with.
No blackout curtains so kids didn't go to sleep until 11pm (we stayed in summer).
The hotel itself is old and the built in furnishings have seen better days - the lining on our bath was peeling off and flusher on toilet was about to go.

The pool was great for the kids, the location was excellent 👌
The family room was a little small but fine. The front doors were closed before 12 and I think the bell might be broken as we had to ring a few times, we could see people next to the reception and it looked like they couldn't hear the bell, we knocked the window and eventually got in.

Location perfect for centre of Cork. Loved the interior of the hotel really nicely furnished. Staff very accommodating.
The windows in the family room didn’t seem to fit well with a slight draught coming through them. This not only affected the temperature in the room but the noise from outside.

Excellent location, friendly staff and breakfast was fantastic….. The gym had a lot of equipment and was of a good standard.
The pool changing rooms was a little untidy and no lockers with keys….

Room comfortable and very quiet. Hotel in a lovely quiet area. Very central to city centre, only a few minutes walk.
It was very hard to get the temperature of the shower correct. The pillows were too soft.

The receptionist was very helpful. I arrived with a cut to my hand and she got the first aid box out. The staff in the bar and restaurant were very friendly and helpful.
