Hotel location was very good, near Douglas shopping centre and nice corner shop nearby too

Not enough couches with tables in lobby. Was cold sitting in front of entrance as electronic doors kept opening

The hotel was within walking distance of Douglas which was nice for bars and restaurants.

The room size for single occupancy was on the very small side and for me it wasn’t value for money given that breakfast want included. There also wasn’t a facility on site to charge my electric car which in the current climate is poor.

The friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel was great. The location was also perfect! Would recommend it to friends and family. The only recommendation is the breakfast. It was pretty average for the price.

The room was spotless clean. Decor was nice. Food was lovely and the breakfast was lovely.

The room was so tiny and the bed was more like a big single than a double. For the size of the bedroom we had I think it was well overpriced. But as small as the bed was it was a comfy bed. Just a pity not more room.

Fantastic staff, helpful and kind. Particularly Zach. Pool amazing.

I liked that is was conveniently located for my needs for my trip, the hotel was spaces, probably a little to big.

Where do I start, so I checked into the hotel just after 22.30, the night porter who was on reception took forever to check me in, he had my name in front of him but he seemed like he had no idea what he was doing, I asked at what time the bar closes as I wanted a drink and he said I don't know, depends on how many people are there. I got to the bar at 22.58 or 22.59 ordered an espresso martini and the bar man said no we are finished doing them at 11, which is strange as it's a bar that's open anyway, I said it's not 11 yet and we got delayed at the reception, the bar man was slow dragging his feet it took 10 minutes to get an espresso martini and a Coors light, the barman genuinely looked like he hadn't a care in the world. I made a second order of drinks different one's this time as he point blank refused to make and espresso martini, so I ordered the drinks I then sat down and the barman pops his head out and shouts over here your drinks are ready instead of actually walking over to me with them, great customer service, he did in the end finally bring a drink over but that was on the last order. The room while it looked clean on the surface i'am sure it was but when you find stickers on the carpet from clothes just bought, and then you find a pair of pink fluffy socks aswell it begs to question who actually cleaned this room and was it done right. I did speak to a manager who said 😂 i'am not the manager to deal with this, terrible nice fella he was but unfortunately he couldn't help but just pass this on to someone else, he did however explain that the new guy at the desk was German and he was a trainee porter. 💯 I get it and fair play but please make sure your staff are supervised if they are a trainee untill they are competent to 💯 work on their own, without delaying the customer. Also still haven't heard from anyone in regards to my complaint if it was a priority for them I would have gotten the call yesterday

Room was very cold but clean.. and people above us very noisy and were still making noise when leaving no sleep and 17.50 for a very poor breakfast that we couldn't even eat. We upgraded our room to deluxe and was just an average room

the pool is very nice and very clean. the bedroom was a good size with two double beds and very clean also.

The staff in the restaurant (apart from one) had no interest in being there. we arrived and sat down with a 11 month old. The 3 staff members were behind the bar watching a rugby match on the tele. nobody came down to take out order after 15 mins I had to go up and ask for menus. we received a lunch menu and then ordered from a very nice girl who was miles ahead of the other staff that was working there. after this we checked in. The man that checked us in took a long time to do so, he was talking on the phone about a spillage. a cleaning lady passed him and he asked her to clean it. when he finally checked us in the cleaning lady came back because she could not find the spillage. when she came over to him he put his hand up to her face and told her to “wait” it was absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. he showed little respect for her and also did this in reception in front of my family and others. The girl was noticeably taken back by it and upset by it, along with embarrassment. It was truly one of the most horrific ways Iv ever seen someone treat a staff member. The morning we checked out it was exactly non I asked at the reception can we get breakfast in the bistro they said yes they are doing a brunch menu. We went into the restaurant got settled with our 11 month old and received a dinner menu. keeping in mind when we arrived the previous day at 2 o clock we received a lunch menu when we arrived. we then asked is there not a brunch menu in now as we were told by reception? we were told “no” that is was over at 12 and that the Reception was wrong. There was two people working at reception and both gave ya false information that they should have known.

Bar staff where pleasant and food in the restaurant was very nice.

The rooms are dated as is the hotel. Peeling paint and worn carpet in the room and hallways, toilet roll holders were broken, and door handles also. Safe in the room didn't work. Air-conditioning in the room was very noisy and the hotel was like a sauna so had to leave the window open all night and hear the traffic from the near by road. The mini fridge wasn't cold at all. The room wasn't cleaned to the standard you would expect there was mould in the shower and half-eating chocolates in the corner of the room on the floor. There was also a large piece of cake smudged into the carpet in the reception area. The main entrance door was out of order and had to enter through a side fire door. The lift to the room was out of order. I requested an early check-in by 2 hours which couldn't be accommodated which was ok, when I arrived early I had two staff members tell me my room wasn't available even tho I explained that I was travelling to attend a funeral, and was only wanting to sort the check-in and leave our bag as we would be away all day and returning late in the evening. After changing in a family member's room for the funeral I returned to leave the bag and was told I hadn't paid for the room even tho I had done it 40 minutes earlier, they finally then took my bag and said it would be left in the room for our return. When I arrived back at the hotel that night to collect the room key the staff didn't even explain where the room was, I had to ask them how to get to it. And when we got to the room our bag wasn't there and we had to ring reception at 9 pm to get it brought up which took quite some time. Not the standard or service you expect for the price.

The breakfast should be until 10.30 at a minimum. We booked ours for 10am arrived at 10am and were told there may not be anything left. It left us feeling stressed.

The breakfast hours and quality

the food in the restaurant was good and the staff were lovely, but the breakfast was very different. The staff appeared to be under extreme pressure. we couldn’t understand why the food was not self service. the lady who served us was lovely and very helpful but extremely busy. she was checking in guests, taking and writing down orders, serving at tables and was even cleaning the tables. we were there with another couple and they were very surprised as we were with the breakfast situation. we both felt this needs urgent attention.

I had to pay for breakfast the night before and like my previous stay I was waiting a long time to get served for dinner the night I arrived.

Lift was broke while we were there big walk to bedrooms disappointing.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The dinner in the hotel's restaurant was excellent, including the service. We had Marina as our waitress, she was so thoughtful, caring and kind even though the place was more than busy.

The breakfast was poor. No options for dietary requirements (gluten and lactose free), the service was slow.

The bar staff very rude . Just getting ready to check out and wanted to check we had everything and Our key wouldn’t work to go back in . and the cleaning ladies were out side sayd they didn’t have master key even tho they had them on a string on their neck. We had to go all the way back down to reception and when we came back up they were actually in our room starting to clean .. ridiculous

Very clean hotel ,rooms nice and big, underfloor heating in the bathrooms. 15 min drive from city centre
