Mycket fint läge nära järnvägsstationen i Shrewsbury. Litet rum ovanpå en pub. Vi stördes inte alls av detta men trapporna var smala och vinda. Fanns möjlighet att koka te och kaffe på rummet.

Det fanns ingen frukostservering.

Perfect location. Staff friendly on greeting us in the pub bar, and bouncers on door all lovely and friendly. Room lovely and warm. Big bed and comfortable.

Little cramped in the toilet but it was a small bathroom and served its purpose. The shower door was not closing proper, so we were a bit worried as water went onto the floor outside but we just put a towel down to catch the water.

Superb staff, very accommodating fellow with our unavoidably late check-in. Check out was smooth if brusque with the woman who was cleaning in the morning (and didn't seem happy to be there). Convenient location.

Hate to say this but the room had an awful odor (which luckily one gets used to after being in it for a minute). Bathroom was kluged together and close to falling apart. Clean is not a word I'd use to describe the room or its floor.

Mattress was too soft for husband.

The hotel was in an excellent location being only 5 minutes walk from the station. The beds were comfortable and clean and staff were friendly and accommodating.

The bathroom in the double room number 7 was a health and safety hazard. The platform for the shower was jutting out about 6 inches into the door way and more than once we tripped over it. The door to the shower didn't close properly so water poured onto the bathroom floor. The rooms were few flights up so are not suitable for everyone.

room was great plus location as i had to get up early for a train thank you..

The location and staff are great but rooms are dated. However for the money the rooms served a purpose.

Probably early in season but the whole place could do with some tlc.
