I liked the outdoor pool and loungers, as well as the ping pong and billiards table and the hammocks. The baths were really great, and the only ones in our whole holiday to include extra towels (so you didn't need to take your room towels) and a cold plunge. One of the hotel receptionists in particular - Kakeru - went the extra mile and helped us a lot (to find an osteopath in town, to stay extra nights because of the typhoon etc).

We were stuck during a typhoon and it would have been nice to have comfier common spaces - the Deigo bar for example was not a very comfy place to hang out. But of course these were exceptional circumstances! A fitness room would also make an excellent addition to the hotel.

The staff tried to do everything for our beautiful staying. Food in restaurants was fresh and tasty

Hotel itself not really big, swimming pool was quite small, sun beds were just plastic and were not comfortable at all. And at the description of this hotel should be the warning that people with Tatoo can not use the pool without covering. We knew the rule about hot baths, hot springs that we can’t use because of cultural reasons. But it was ordinary pool-and it was quite weird. And there is no beach at this hotel, you need to take an excess ion to swim at the sea

Hotel is beautiful within and all kind of different entertainment available. Breakfast was also amazing

Extremely limited staff support, when - Pre book the shuttle bus to airport the second you arrive. We ended up being told that its full on our flight day. When requested to book a Taxi, was told “cant guarantee, as its too busy”. Not sure if they are suggesting to walk or what, but ended up taking a cab 3 hours before the flight, as Ishigaki has limited taxi service - On our 3rd day, unfortunately had a sunstroke and a high fever. When requested to give some kind of a antibiotics or anything to help - denied, although staff saw us clearly suffering - early check in even 30min before - not possible, stay and wait in the sun, when its over 33 celsius - Suitcases - no one helps to carry, while yo bring one after another to reception - anything you request from lobby, will take at least 30min to come - although a lot of entertainment varieties, all close at 8pm and opens from 2.

Staffs are really helpful and friendly. We had been enjoying the breakfast. It’s really easy to make a reservation for all kinds of tours and activities.

Nice sea-front room. Good breakfast. Nice indoor pool. Perfect cleaning.

No free shuttle bus to the city. No sand beach. No music around the hotel. No live shows. Poor choice of restaurants and bar inside hotel .

View was excellent. Various options for breakfast.

Beds were too hard. Not that comfy.

Big room with nice view. Nice holidays feeling. Free coffee and juice all day. Indoor swimming pool great for kids. Good breakfast even if the choices don't change much.

They wanted to charge us 3000 yen per night for extra bed sheets for our 4 years old who was included in the booking and were not friendly about it.

The staff were really friendly. The room was clean. The restaurant was good. The garden on our first floor was a little dark at night. The room light wasn’t working at times. The key box to get the lights on needed several tries until the main lights were lite.

The pool near our place was a little small.

The location is great. if you want to go out for dinner in the city it’s only a short Taxi ride for about 1000 Yen. Our room had a great view too.

We had some ants visiting during the nights, but I think you cannot totally avoid this in this climate

it was quite far from downtown area. no convenience store within walking distance. I booked ocean view room but actually my room should’ve called “ partial ocean view with mostly parking lot view ” bit disappointed.

The facilities were good for the price.

Location was just ok: water front with no beach. Nice resort with well maintained facilities, helpful and kind staff, good places for in-house dining.

It was kind of surprise there were no rental bikes as announced in their web site.
