Not everything was bad. Positive was a clean pool with a nice view. Breakfast was really good with a nice location with view on the beach. Big room with comfortable beds. Friendly staff.

The negative unfortunately clearly overweight the positive. This hotel does not in my opinion deserve 5 stars. After check in we were informed that the hotel was closed for 3 years and is newly opened but is still under renovation. Some of the parts of the hotel were blocked and you could see everywhere people working. This had a feeling of a construction site and not a resort. An information after booking that it's still unter renovation did not happen. The pictures on the booking site do not reflect what you will see. Even if the room we stayed in should be newly renovated the bathroom was worn down. Showerhead did not work properly. Floor was dirty. Big showerhead could not be used and was relay rusted/dirty. The fridge was moldy and the cola bottles were inside which were clearly a long time inside so the cola went already clear. The air conditioning worked but was so loud it was impossible to sleep even on the lowest settings. Isolation of the room was non existent. When outside or in the room upstairs someone walked or jumped in the pool you could hear everything. Sleeping without earplugs was for us not possible. The wooden door were only locked with small "shelf locks" on the top and bottom. If you are not so tall you can't open or close them and you could even see through a gab outside... Not really the hotel's complete fault but the private beach was completely full of trash. On our last day the beach was cleaned up a bit. A daily clean up would have also been nice.

Some of the staff was kind. Breakfast was good with many choices but fruits were not so good. New years eve dinner good but charged a lot for the drinks and the staff made a lot of mistakes

Cheated as we were given a different room than the grand pool villa we had booked 4 months in advance and paid 525 euro non refundable. On our first complain they answered that our room was given and there is no other available room for our whole stay. On our second complain after some time and already lost our first valuable day which we inform them that the online booking company was informed about the downgrade and the whole situation and treatment suddenly another room found by magic but on the next day Without being in situation to move as we were already travelling 24 hours, lost already money and one day we accepted. The second room was better than the first but still not the one we booked. Private pool like a pond, dirty, no privacy, no plants. Room smaller than the advertised. Dirty with bad smell. Old furniture. Broken woods, Dirty bathroom. Not functioning low budget shower. Small living room. Staff most of them not well trained. We also asked the staff to come and clean the pool on the second room in which the recycling system was not working properly and the water was in the middle. On the photos check what rooms were given to us and compare it with the grand pool villa advertised on their site and on online booking sites. Overall a total disaster. Dont even think to book here. Maybe someone will pay more money and take the room you had already booked in advance. Many lies from the staff

All of it, the bedroom was fabulous, the furniture and fittings so comfortable. Breakfast was tasty the staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you. It close to a little village and they are so nice.

You are given slippers to wear, l had my on for 5 days and thought I'll put them in my case, been worn for 5 days. Checking out they said they were a pair of slippers missing, so l took them out of my case and said l sorry, it did seem strange.

a nice traditional wooden Thai themed hotel on the beach, I stayed in a double room, it was very big, two double beds, a good sized balcony with nice views of the hotel area, modern TV, free dvd films available, large bathroom, good air conditioning, large reception, friendly & helpful staff, a beautiful pool next to beach with stunning views, a soft clean beach area, a good varied inclusive breakfast, good location with plenty of nearby shops restaurants, spas & walking areas.

I liked it all.
