Staff was amazing and attentive from entering the hotel premises. The rooms are very clean with a beautiful view of the harbour, the bathtub was huge! Loved that there were real beds and also futons if we wanted to have it made, great to have both options. The restaurant inside the hotel was amazing for dinner, we had tenpenyakki and set menu the best wagyu beef yum! Even though we stayed during COVID19, some of the facilities were closed but we still enjoyed our stay.

The fixtures could be newer however we understand the hotel is a bit older, still beautiful.

Very friendly and professional staff, reception is outstanding and they take attention to detail. Warm & welcome personalized service. Luggage service, staff accompanied us to the room, explained room etc. Entrance hall, second door, huge room, the superior rooms have a amazing jacuzzi with view of the harbor, Kobe port tower. Their bath salt is superb ( bought for taking home ). Great amenities, refill whenever needed, big enough towels and bathrobe ( me being slightly larger than average). The complimentary mineral water tastes good ( and they refill too ). Beautiful private balcony ( ok, the trap door of the fire escape but that is more than acceptable),comfortable chairs. Sitting and let the world go bye. Closing the doors and nothing. No noise,neither from neighboring rooms ( or up or below or hallway). Comfortable beds ( would prefer a king size though ) and pillows. Service is attentive and quick. Had Lunch, reasonable prized and nicely presented. Breakfast was room service, again, more than enough food. Night view ( 8th floor ) Wow !!!!

The close by bypass ( Highway) is quite noisy when you use the balcony but c'est la vie. Breakfast selection ( i am a egg & ham guy, need jam & honey ( & large quantities of milk ),cereal too), not so much. It's enough but i neither need soup or a (huge) salad. One egg, small, a tiny sausage & a slice of ham, jam ( requested more ), neither honey or cereal, no milk. Croissants a mediocre ( tasted prebaked & heated up, rest of the huge bread selection was fine ) Please be a bit more flexible in that department ( no, the breakfast is very good but i need a different selection). The bubbles for the bubble bath are a bit weak 😉, no, not necessary but it is fun to have a lot of foam.
