The stay is very well located so you don't have to go all the way to hofn. It is a big facility with a kitchen and nice options for ice creams. The staff is very helpful and you can go to the glacier in a 50 minute drive.

The kitchen is a bit small as compared to the number of people staying at this guest house. More induction and utensils will be better.

Bog room with well appointed bathroom and nice restaurant to grab a bite and have a good breakfast. we could see the Aurora from our room

Walls were a little bit thin/ you could hear the noises from the other rooms very easily, other than that absolutely no complaints

location was okay and remote enough to see northern lights without too much light pollution around.

our room looked like it was still being renovated, bits missing and bathroom door and frame not secured properly. no service in between nights so no bins emptied. not fussed about it being cleaned properly in between but at least empty the bin. if you were a little late to breakfast there seemed to be not much choice or things being refilled despite it being in until way after we wanted food.

nice hotel, very big they have so new areas and old rooms, we stayed in a new room, so was huge for a couple and the restaurant was good and the staff was very welcoming

The breakfast is very nice and we love the interior of the room and also the common area. There are a lot of cute little decoration around the guest house, the view from the windows are amazing. Room is very spacious, suitable for family with kids.

The hotel have guests from all around the world and while it's rather big it keeps a cozy feeling. Breakfast was lovely and the variety of veggies was better than anywhere else. Location, just before Hofn, was super.

Very accommodating

Breakfast was good, location and views great. Lots of things to keep you entertained eg table soccer machine

Rooms quite outdated, e.g shower without shower tray. Rooms definitely not sound proofed- next door's alarm went off at 5.30am which we found quite disturbing

The food in the restaurant area was very good and we ate there both days. The staff were very friendly and the location is good for a stopover.
