Every aspect of our vacation experience was carefully considered, from well-stocked cabinets to various pool amenities. Each room is equipped with fans, and there are a variety of games, bicycles, and beach accessories available. The neighborhood is peaceful, and the pool is just the right size with ample seating, including shaded areas. We appreciated the quieter, non-touristy atmosphere of the area, which allowed us to unwind and spend quality time with family. Mark and Lisa truly pay attention to every detail and clearly have a passion for maintaining their property, which is evident as soon as you walk in.

This home was absolutely perfect for us. We loved the ease of walking to the ocean, river, shops and restaurants. The backyard is a lovely sanctuary. Lisa and Mark made the whole experience pleasant and hassle-free. I was so sad when I had to leave and return home.

One of the best we've stayed at. Location was perfect for walking, beach, restaurants, store. Property was immaculate with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Lots to explore in the area although we spent most of our time at the beach and enjoying the pool. We had no problems but Host was available to answer any questions .

This house was awesome! The pool was amazing! Short walk to the beach and to the river. Every morning we’d walk to the beach for the sunrise and then walk to the river to watch the sunsets. We saw dolphins on the river side! Awesome views. There were many things in the garage for the pool and beach. There are a lot of board games, too. We really enjoyed staying at this house. It was a very relaxing vacation for us. Lisa was very responsive when we contacted her. Thank you Lisa and Mark for opening your home to us!

This house is in the perfect location. The beach is just a 5 minute walk where you essentially have a private beach. A 5 minute walk the other direction brings you to Indian River where you can see beautiful sunsets. The pool is one of the nicest and cleanest I have seen (and we rent houses with pools every year for spring break). The outside shower was so convenient to ensure you don’t bring in sand/shells into the house or pool after a day at the beach. Kitchen was well-stocked with very nice appliances. Weather was great! Thanks for allowing us to stay in your house!

This beach home is a little piece of paradise! It was exactly as described and Lisa was a joy to work with. The beach is within walking and biking distance, the backyard with pool is beautiful, and the house has everything you need. We would definitely recommend.

Property was everything we expected and more. Beautiful backyard. We had a fun relaxing time together as a family. Sebastian inslet state park was our favorite place to visit. We bicycled to the Melbourne Beach pier and caught several fish. Loved eating breakfast at Backwater and making our own pancakes. Two thumbs up!

We had a wonderful time staying in this home! It was immaculately clean, and exactly as described! Home was well stocked with everything we needed. Pool was beautiful and warm. Location was perfect! Just a short walk to the beach or the river side. Beach was not crowded at all, and was very clean. The town of Melbourne Beach was friendly, easy going, and not packed with tourists which we loved! The neighborhood the house is in was quiet. We’d definitely stay at this property again!

We had a wonderful family vacation at this adorable beach cottage. The location was fantastic, the beach access right at the end of the block was so close. The pool and large, private back yard are even better than the pictures. We had a family of four and had more than enough space. Also had everything we needed to cook our own meals. There is a small local grocery very close by that is very well stocked and has a great prepared foods counter. Lisa and Mark were quick to respond to any questions or issues we had.

The house was immaculate, and the pool/outdoor area was even better than expected. Gorgeous and very private.

The house was extremely clean and very well equipped. The outside heated shower was a lovely surprise. It is a very short walk to the beach and to the bay area. A great neighborhood for little kids with a big playground and not much traffic by the house.

Beautiful home perfect for some much needed relaxation. The home is extremely well organized and clean. They have taken care to think of just about everything you could need. The only negative was having to leave!!!

We had a very nice stay at this property! The location was excellent. We were less than an hour from Kennedy Space Center, and the best beaches were with in walking distance from the rental. We loved using the bikes to ride to the beach and bay. The kids also loved using the boogie boards and swimming in the beautiful pool at night. I would highly recommend this vacation rental to any family looking for a quiet, safe neighborhood with the best beaches on the Space Coast and a perfectly maintained pool. Can’t wait to come back next year!

We had a great week at Mark & Lisa’s in Melbourne Beach. The backyard is very private with a great pool, which was so warm it almost felt like a hot tub (92 degrees). It is a short 1.5 block walk to the beach. The beach was nearly private, as we saw very few other people on the beach all week. As others have said, the house includes everything you might need for the beach, such as a cart, small pop-up tent, toys, beach towels, chairs, etc. All but one day the water was quite full of seaweed, but from what I’ve read that is quite unpredictable in this area. The kitchen is also well stocked with more than other rentals I’ve stayed in. We truly had everything we needed! The only thing that would keep me from booking this house again is the beds/pillows. I didn’t have a single night of good sleep due to the mattresses and pillows. I stay in hotels quite often and am not too picky when it comes to beds, but these are pretty rough.

The house and pool were excellent, and exactly as described. The back yard was very private, and the large number of palm trees provided shade at various times throughout the day. There are many pool and beach toys available in the garage, including 4 bicycles. The beach is an easy 2 block walk, and there are restaurants and stores conveniently located. What we particularly liked was the residential location - quiet with little traffic on the street, but convenient to the beach and anything we needed. Mark and Lisa were easy to communicate with, and responded quickly to any questions, including suggestions for things to see and do, and places to eat. Would definitely stay at this house again.

This property is amazing.... all the pictures and details in the description were exactly as described and Lisa and Mark have literally thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable and comfortable. They are also super helpful with providing advice about the area and making recommendations.... we loved Melbourne Beach so much everyone in the community is so friendly and nice!!

Extremely clean, pool was perfect! We were already bringing extra luggage with us due to my daughter playing in the softball tournament so the fact that all beach and pool accessories were included was great! 4 minute bike ride to the beach. 7 minutes to walk. Close to everything. We hope to get to come back.

My family and I visited for a week in June and the property met and exceeded our expectations. The home was clean, quiet, and very well decorated. I feel like we stayed at someone’s home and not just a regular rental property. It felt like everything was thought of for a beach vacation that we needed and then some. Beach toys, towels, chairs, etc were available in abundance. Even coolers, sunscreen, an umbrella, and more….everything one would need. The pool was clean, fun, and relaxing for us. We spent a lot of afternoons there in the heat of the day. The backyard was big and the outdoor shower was perfect for coming back from the beach before the pool/house. The location was perfect, as we walked daily to the beach, sometimes multiple times per day. We also walked on the pier numerous times during the day and around sunset. Our kids loved looking for fish, birds, and dolphins at the beach and pier. For our time at the pier, we almost always mixed in some playground time for the kids at Ryckman Park (located adjacent to the pier.) During most of our beach sessions we would see one or multiple dolphins cruising up or down the coast. We also saw dolphins most times times we were at the pier. It was so frequent that it was almost a surprise when we didn’t see them. It was very cool for our kids to be so close to the life on the water. It almost is prime season for turtles to lay their eggs on the beach. Every morning we would see numerous tracks coming up from or returning to the ocean, all the way up and down the beach. There was a full Moon during our stay and we walked out to the beach early at night to see it. We were blessed to see a mama turtle quietly emerging from the ocean in the moonlight. We kept our distance and did not disturb her, it was a quiet surprise we will always remember. We saw two rocket launches on our trip. One we watched from the beach, another occurred on a day we went to Kennedy Space Center with the kids on a day trip. They are fun to see and happen often these days, if you are here you should keep an eye on the schedule. We would not hesitate to stay here again and had a wonderful trip away. It was very enjoyable and convenient having the pool even though the ocean was nearby.the house was clean and comfortable and convenient to numerous restaurants and places to go!

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The house, pool, and property were all above our expectations. Our daughter named the turtle Marvin! The instructions on how to use everything in the house were very helpful. The owners obviously put a lot of care into this place. We will be back.

The house, private backyard and pool were above and beyond our expectations. However the beach access was not easy for seniors. But throw in the screened porch and a gas grill and it was a great stay. Highly recommended.

Absolutely wonderful! Nice and quiet neighborhood. Many dog walkers and their dogs were so quiet. No barking at all. A short walk to the beach access. Pool and the screened-in patio was a beautiful morning/evening respite. We replaced whatever we used as far as paper goods, etc. A well-stocked cooking pantry and condiments in the refrigerator. TV system was a bit confusing. Would not hesitate whatsoever recommending the Turtle Nest

If you’re looking for a super clean and a place that feels like a home away from home this is your place. Our little guy loved spending time in the pool and there’s plenty of great things to do minutes away. Lisa and Mark were great to work with and truly do try to make your stay great.
