Clean, quiet, well decorated, perfect location close to beach and tons of restaurants. Amazing staff.

The staff are wonderful! I’ve never had such friendly service! The welcome drink was delicious. The rooms are updated and spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfy.

The building itself is a bit challenging to navigate and I would have enjoyed a window with some sort of view. The restaurant is very expensive.

There was no breakfast served Monday or Tuesday (the 2 days we were there). I think this should have been advertised or I should have been told when booking. Also the Trópica Beach hotel is not on the beach. This was very misleading. While chairs and towels are available, you have to walk 1/2 km to get to the beach.

So close to the beach. Less than a two minute casual walk. Beach sounds greeted us each morning. Clean room and friendly staff. Close to many restaurants and right in the middle of a relatively quiet neighbourhood. Parking on the street is easy to find offseason.

There really wasn't much they could improve upon. The staff was exceptional and friendly. They gave us chairs to sit on the beach. Directions to various beaches. I was disappointed that they weren't directly on the beach at first but quickly overcame that once I got used to the room and realised that the beach was within walking distance (less than a two minutes). No elevator. But I don't really like elevators so no big deal for me. If it's a big deal you can ask for a room on the first floor.

It was really clean, was near a lot of places. The staff was super friendly.

I booked two rooms due to a family member getting married and the hotel was not a huge hotel which I liked. It was a small hotel, super clean and having a restaurant right next door was great. We were not right on the beach but it was a short walk up the block. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I am grateful to Jessica and appreciated her help and wonderful personality. We chatted a few times and she gave me great suggestions of where to eat nearby. When I needed assistance with an issue with the shower she was quick to contact maintenance to check the problem. Her friendly demeanor and smile was very welcoming. She made the stay much more pleasant and would definitely go back again.

What I didn’t care for was that during the week there is not someone at the front desk 24/7 like I’m typically used to. However, they did provide a phone number just in case you did need someone. Luckily, I did not need to contact anyone the one night that someone was not there after midnight.

I loved everything about this stay. The hotel is exceptionally clean and every person who works in the hotel is fantastic. The restaurant on site (it is not the hotel, it is a separate entity, even tho it is physically part of the hotel) has wonderful food and cocktails and the bartenders are really nice. A couple of things to note: You can park in the parking lot without using valet. You just have to be let in and it is right around the corner. We just used the valet. The beach is about 2 blocks away. The hotel will give you a beach chair and towel in the lobby that you can use at the beach. The beach is big and lovely. Free coffee starting at 6:00 AM (yay!), snacks in a machine and flavored water in the lobby. Lots of cute spaces to relax or work (I was working remotely on this trip) and wifi speeds were great. There was some noise in the evening but I always travel with earbuds so it was manageable. The courtyard got a bit noisy at night but didn't bother me. As a solo female traveler, I appreciated the additional safety of the locked front doors! (you swipe your key to get in). Again, GREAT STAFF. 100%

Really pretty, updated hotel. Staff was amazing! So friendly and helpful. I loved walking to Kasaltas each morning for coffee and a pastry. I felt safe in the neighborhood. It was easy and inexpensive to get an Uber to drive us into Old San Juan. We also booked a rainforest and beach trip through Trip Advisor

I loved the restaurant that was attached. It was absolutely amazing and the beds were extremely comfy.

The bathroom was extremely small and the shower was open and didn’t have a door so water would get all over the floor causing guests to use additional towels to clean it all up.
