Just small stuff - we had the smaller room with no kitchen (just minifridge) and we didnt have a breakfast option… and we found out coffee Is not that easy to get in the area. :) So, we spoke with Annalisa got a drip coffee maker from the other room (where they didnt drink it). It would be great if there was a small microwave and coffee maker in that room. The shower curtain seemed like it Is going to fall apart any minute. :)

The property has a beautiful garden with an excellent pool. This is all shared but as there aren’t many rooms it works out well. The lovely host Anna Lisa made us delicious breakfasts at a small additional charge. The accommodation has spacious rooms.

Our room came without air conditioning, only a free standing fan. For me as a pregnant lady from the uk if made it hard to sleep in the heat, however, Anna Lisa kindly offered another bed to sleep in in her private property which did have airconditioning.

The owner Annalisa is a perfect host who knows every spot on the island and gave us a lot of very helpfull tips. She is very lovely and arranged also a renting car for us with good conditions. Her lovely dogs were good buddies and are very behaved. We booked 3 nights, but extended to a week, because we liked it so much there. Its located in a quiet neighborhood and even without a car you can reach the village center by foot in 10-15Min. Beautiful beaches are just 5Min drive away..there are perfect swimming spots in Palmar and Belle Mar. The northeast coast is still a shanti place without much tourism and lots of places to discover. We would definitely like to go back to this lovely guesthouse one day and highly recommend it.

Fantastic stay. Annalisa is a wonderful host. Great tips and very helpful. The apartment is great- lovely lighting, great breeze and we'll equipped kitchen with everything you might need. It's also spotlessly clean. The balcony has great views overlooking the pool and was a lovely place to have an evening beer. Location is very good but it's beneficial to have a car or scooter (like most places in Mauritius!), it's a short walk into town, but we rented a scooter which made commuting to the beach, mountains and supermarkets very easy. We would highly recommend Maison Soleil and would happily stay again!

Everything was perfect, Annalisa is the perfect host! The room was very comfortable and the bed one of the best in which we slept during our trip around the island. Breakfast is served in the garden and it is very good and freshly prepared every morning, she has the typical Italian moka for coffee. She gave us many advices both for the beaches than for the restaurants.
