The house was clean and had everyting we neet. Hosts was friendly and helpfull. We went for a walk in the bush. It was a great experience

A great hiking location, but you will need to travel to the start of the trail. Pilansberg is just an hour away and Brauhaus Afrika is just down the road.

solitude in nature, only my internal clock setting the pace. I came here to relax, and that's what I did. clean and comfy cottage could have extended my 3 nights easily. Jenny assisted me w blitz and a charging cable I forgot to bring, great hosts.
Road could be better, but didn't plan to ride around during my stay

Our stay was so tranquil and private. The chalets were well equipped and the scenery was beautiful. Jenny and Alan were fantastic hosts, we really enjoyed our stay.
Theres not a lot to critique, some of the furniture was a bit tired but nothing really took away from the peaceful weekend we had.

Love the location, not too far from Johannesburg but still quiet and tranquil. The hosts were around and always friendly and full of suggestions and information. Really enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed the quiet and birdsong at Thirsty Falls. And the opportunity to read and sleep. We also went on a early morning game drive at Africa Hills - on the recommendation of Jenny - a worthwhile outing. But we we didn't feel any need to be 'out and about'. We were fascinated by - and enjoyed - the wetlands pool, along with coming to terms with making our way in, around, and out of it.

The only issue I have is that it's 25min drive to town .abit far out if you plan to go visit magalies and even further to Harbes dam

I know my comment will sound like a broken record, but the host was amazing, the place was clean and beautiful and most of all quiet❤
The host treated us like family. If you looking for a place to disconnect from the world this is the perfect place. I don't have cell signal which was the best thing for me because it made me focus on me and not make me feel guilty for turning my phone off/on with no signal.

The variety of birds and the different sounds was fantastic.
