We had an amazing stay at Sandra and Rex’s beautifully maintained property. We stayed in the apartment over the garage. It was one of the cleanest rentals we’ve ever stayed in! It was also very homey and comfortable. The kitchen was perfect too, fully stocked for all our cooking needs! There are quite a few steps to get up to the apartment but we didn’t mind it! This property is a MUST if you have young kids. Our girls brought their snorkels and when we weren’t on the boat or jet ski we were all enjoying the lovely private beach, which was a huge plus! The floating dock was great and had ample space to put a 12 person tritoon on one side and jet ski on the other side. The first day of our arrival the kids were already asking if we could come back. Can’t wait to book our next stay!

The perfect place to feel relaxed on vacation with majestic views of the lake. A private, fully equipped home with a private entrance. Plenty of space to stretch out and relax. Piece of paradise!

It was a great experience! Very relaxing private environment. Although the owners do live on the property they were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and in the bathroom it was very accomodating! The kayaks provided were amazing! We went kayaking everyday and there was NOT a lot of boat traffic so it was perfect! We also had a blast diving off the dock! Great stay over all! Thank you!

My husband, son and myself stayed in the downstairs apartment and thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The apartment was very clean and true to the pictures online. We took a day trip to Charlotte and attended the Nascar Hall of Fame and was able to find an indoor go-kart track for our 15 year old son on a rainy day. The beach was great and enjoyed the use of the kayaks. My husband and son enjoyed fishing from the dock and even did some night fishing. Sandra and Rex were out of town but was wonderful to talk to on the phone and very helpful. We hope to return and bring the entire family and rent both apartments.

We stayed for five days and loved every minute- the property is beautiful and very clean - the owners were extremely nice and a pleasure to talk with. The lake was a short walk from the garage apartment and was awesome to hang out on all day! Would definitely come back and highly recommend.

Sandra's home is very secluded, and right on the water. We had a lovely time kayaking, hiking nearby, and had a fire in the fire pit one night. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The lower apartment is lovely with plenty of space and an amazing view of the lake. The kitchen is well stocked with good utensils - a good indicator that the owners care about their guests' comfort. Would definitely recommend.

She was there to meet me on arrival, kept in touch with needed info, and checked on me daily. She returned my texts within minutes each time I had a question for her. My brother, sister and I stayed in the two bedroom above the garage. It is immaculately clean. The beds are so comfortable. It has a fully stocked kitchen with utensils, pots, pans, etc... I felt completely safe as well. The house is within minutes of restaurants and grocery stores; however the peace of the lake makes you feel far away from the stress of any city. You can completely trust anything Sandra says. I enjoyed sitting in the chairs in the early morning watching the sun rise over the lake. So so peaceful! If you stay here you will not be sorry. Beautiful property, lovely accommodations. Only recommendation would be to add in the description that owners live on site. Very pleasant and efficiently communicate. Only con to apartment was a loud buzzing sound from refrigerator.

Wonderful place to stay for 5 days and relax. The property was very well maintained and clean.

I don't think I have ever stayed in a cleaner rental. We stayed in the 2-bdrm garage apartment, and the space was perfect for our family. The kitchen was well stocked, and beds and linens were comfy and cozy. The lake beach was shaded by trees most of the day, which helped keep us cool and sunburn-free. We loved the fire pit and all the beautiful trees. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. We will be back!

Even though a massive storm hit days prior to our stay, the owners did a fabulous job preparing the home for our arrival. The area is absolutely beautiful.

10/10 recommend!! I don't normally sit down and write reviews but this property was amazing. My wife and I got married in May during Covid and literally every plan we had changed. We wanted a quiet, peaceful getaway until we could have a big honeymoon. I'm so glad we found this property online. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment over the garage, but the apt under the house would have been just as good. Sandra and Rex were around and great to chat with while also giving us our privacy. Our guest home could not have been cleaner. We were very impressed, especially during these times! Everything we needed was at the home including an awesome gas grill. Make sure to watch the doe graze in the field behind the property...right off the back window or deck! Just down the hill is your private paradise with a private beach, comfy adirondack chairs, separate fire pit with seating, and a private dock. The two kayaks were also a big draw for us, wanting to socially distance, and we took those out 2-4 times a day. CS Rentals is 15 minutes away if you want to rent a jetski or boat (we did!) and we did check out Devaste winery. It was under 20 minutes away, great social distancing and sanitizing, delicous wine/beer and you can bring a picnic and maybe catch a live band. We grabbed to-go from Pellegrino's right by the winery and it was delicious. Every house on the lake seems to have steep yards and this yard was sloping but not steep by any means. I can't say enough positive things about our trip to this property. Please book this place if you're reading this!

The cleanest place we've stayed at on Lake Norman! We stayed in the garage apartment. Lots of stairs to get up there but that was okay for us. Perfect size for my husband and our six year old son! Dock was perfect as well! Easy parking for the trailer too. We have a 25' boat. Would love to bring more people with us next year and have them stay in the basement apartment. I peaked in the windows for it and it looks amazing too. Kind of far away from the city stuff but we didn't need it.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property and know for sure that we will be back. Sandra and Rex are excellent hosts and have a superb property away from it all. The downstairs apartment was immaculate and perfect for our family of four. We cooked our meals each evening and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the pans, pots, dishes and utensils we needed. We enjoyed swimming from The private beach, jumping off the dock, kyacking and roasting s’mores. The kids were thrilled at how many fish they were able to catch (and release) during our stay. Perfect is really the best way to describe our little getaway. It was just what 2020 needed.

We had 2 separate spaces (both ideal, clean and well-equipped) which enabled our immediate family to stay in the 2-bdr apartment over the garage while grandparents stayed in the main first level space. This was key during Covid-19; we hadn't felt comfortable sharing one space. Aside from that, the property itself was ideal with a great beach area with complimentary kayaks.

This property was perfect for what we were looking for. Gorgeous lakefront views, well maintained property, private beach where we could swim or launch our small sailboat. But some of the most fun we had was kayaking using the kayaks at the property. You had your own little slice of the lake all to yourself. The downstairs apartment itself was beautiful and perfect for us - a family with small kids. The owners were fantastic and accommodating and very accessible. We will be back.

We were looking for a quiet, relaxing weekend and we found it. The down stairs apartment was very clean, neat and just like the pictures. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We sat outside under the covered patio, by the fire pit and on the beach. Cooked steaks on the grill and ate at the table under the patio. Sandra was a friendly hostess. She had the answer to all the questions we had about the area. She treated us like family. We can not say enough good things about our stay. We will be going back as soon as our scheduals will allow.
