Great views from the balcony - we paid extra for the room with a lake view but not essential because of the communal balcony. The facilities were great and easy access down the side of the property to the centre of Kandy. Staff were nice.
Breakfast was okay but a bit more basic than we’ve had previously.

Lovely staff. Spotlessly clean. Modern bathrooms. Great value for money. Just a short taxi ride from town. Ate at the hotel for dinner one night and the food was great, proper Sri Lanka home cooking.
Can’t really fault it for the price.

Everything about this place is perfect. Awesome breakfast, awesome view. Good clean rooms. They also have a short cut to reach the main road quickly by walk.

Excellent location (quiet area, but close walk to city center) and room exceeded expectations. New, clean, good bathroom. Family was very friendly and helpful and dinner was tasty.

La pulizia della camera molto accurata. La distanza dal centro a piedi (15 minuti) che al rientro diventano 20 o più per la salita e le ripidissime scale. La possibilità di usufruire di in servizio di lavanderia accurato.
La terribile insonorizzazione. Veramente vergognosa! in pratica (come da foto) il bagno della nostra camera era separato dal bagno della camera accanto, da un muro sino a 2 metri d'altezza poi l'ultimo metro è composto da mattoni in vetrocemento malamente posati e sul lato una sottile tavoletta di legno malmessa; in pratica si sentiva perfettamente qualsiasi rumore nel bagno e nella camera accanto. (Purtroppo siamo stati sfortunati perche due ragazze della camera accanto hanno ascoltato musica e parlato forte sino all'una di notte.
WIFI non funzionante in camera ma solo nella zona comune (comunque lento) o nelle camere più vicine al router.
Materasso scomodo e letto scricchiolante.
La camera è di dimensioni ridottissime e come spesso accade le immagini di presentazione su booking o altri siti non riescono mai a rappresentare la realtà. Accoglienza fredda ed essenziale.

The view from the terrace is great, the staff is really nice and the rooms are really comfortable. An easy shortcut to the centre of Kandy from the hilltop as well.
It's a bit of a climb up when coming from the centre of Kandy (but would def. recommend) and it's not a real solo traveller place (although I did meet some nice people)

On a pu laisser nos bagages une nuit car nous faisions une nuit Kandy une nuit sigiriya et à nouveau une nuit à Kandy.
Le petit déjeuner continental, j’airais préféré un petit dej sri lankais sinon tout était parfait !

The owner was very helpful and attentive to our requests. View from the room was excellent. Room: we could not ask for more! Breakfast was what we desired, and we received what we wished.

Потрясающий отель. Очень понравилась уютная комната, завтраки самые лучшие за все время пребывании на Шри-Ланке. Месторасположение отличное. Пешком до центра минут 20. Обратно идти придется в горку, обычно обратно ездили на тук-туке за 600 - 800 рупий.
Вид на город отличный. Персонал очень любезный и вежливый
Немного было шумновато ночью. Наши окна выходили на соседский двор, у которых ночью лаяла собака. окна деревянные, поэтому все прекрасно было слышно.

Great location! With breakfast you have this amazing view over Kandy Lake. Nice walking to the city centre in about 15 min. Friendly staff, who helped us find a guide to go Knuckles Range Forest (we went with guide Achoke and arranged this with his brother Thusi). Airconditioning and fan worked well!
Our room was a bit small and not too special, matrass a bit old, but still very okay for us:) but we know there are very nice rooms (with a view on the lake!)

The views of the lake and Kandy were just as photographed. The room and bathroom were spotless and recently refurbished. The breakfast was good. There is a great walk round the lake to the Temple of the Tooth and central Kandy. It is well located a short walk to the centre of town. The monkeys playing on the roof of nearby houses and on the balcony were entertaining.

Wunderbare Unterkunft, eine der besten auf meiner Reise durch Sri Lanka. Es lohnt doch, ein Zimmer mit Seeblick zu wählen. Die Lage ist super, ruhig und hoch oben, man kommt zu Fuß über eine Abkürzung in 5 Minuten zum See hinunter. Sehr netter hilfsbereiter Gastgeber.

It is in a good location with great views across Kandy Lake. The owner was very helpful. We liked to get out early so he provided great packed breakfasts to take with us. Everything was very functional.
Room we had was a bit small but adequate for a couple of nights.

A lovely place! Wonderful hosts, the view is glorious, and the location is ideal - just a few minutes walk uphill from the lake, and away from the bustle of the city centre. Some excellent restaurants nearby too. Very highly recommended!

Lovely staff, fabulous views, easy location to the town, great balcony to sit on.
We were on the lower floor, the rooms are small and have no view. But the shared balcony upstairs more than compensates.

It's a wonderful small hotel which has everything you need. Our room was very clean and it had a great view over the lake. The bathroom and all the furniture seemed new and well designed. The owner was very kind, she even packed the breakfast for us as we were leaving very early. Highly recommended, great value for money!

Great spot looking down onto the lake and temple, the rooms are very nicely decorated and clean. Super comfortable bed, big breakfast and very friendly and helpful hosts. You can also have dinner on request which was delicious, one of the best meals I've had on my trip.

Really enjoyed this place. Nice room just a good distance out of Kandy that it feels quiet but only a short walk from the center. Nice view from the room and entertaining watching monkeys. Very helpful at the hotel for information and helped planning next part of our trip. Good breakfast also

The breakfast was also amazing, more then enough for one person, and well put together.
The view was also amazing, looking out on the lake and the temple. Also got to see some monkeys in the morgen from our balcony aswell!!
The shower was nice, but not very strong.
The temperature switched pretty quickly tho so not all bad.

Great staff, nice view and located close to the city center! Book a tour on forehand via withlocals.com and look for a tour with host Buddhima. I promise she'll elevate your stay in Kandy and let you taste the best (street)food, fruits and spices. The rooms in the homestay are large, clean and the breakfast is good!
