The name of the resort is misleading... it is not a beach resort, you cant even view the beach from the property. The accommodation are just bahay kubo with small common pool. The bamboo house assigned to us seemed like it was not cleaned for months. Dust scatter all over the house-on the floor railings and on furnitures. Since it is not refundable, we did not bother to cancel. We just make use of the old ref to store our perishable goods and stayed on another property in the beachfront overnight. If you intend to stay here to relax, I don't think you can achieve that goal. I am sorry but this is how I feel.

The staff of Calayo are amazing and very helpful. They have initiatives in helping guests and very reliable.

We brought our own food, stuffs, toiletries and some kitchen utensils. My family like the second deck floor of a bamboo house. There was 3 rooms including the upper floor, have gas stove, a two door ref, and a small hp aircon. You can wash outside while waiting for your companion finish shower. The beach was just 3-5 mins walk.

Lack of maintenance: There are some web on the bamboo ceiling, no floor mats, toilet faucet can be detachable, saw some termite build-up on toilet wall and near floor on master bedroom. No cleaning of dusts on upper furnitures and electric fans. Barbecue facilities not maintained.

It's a short walk away to the beach. It has a small pool perfect to chill down in the afternoon after going to the beach. We occupied two bungalows and each is equipped with gas burner and kitchen. It has two rooms and an attic which can accommodate 6 to 8 pax.

The AC needs some upgrade and cleaning.

We love the comfortable homey feels of the place, and this is ultimately atrributed to the hospitable warm service of the resort's team, special mention to Michelle and her family. They made our stay convenient. We like the spacious nipa house with loft, equipped with basic kitchen amenities. Its just a few walks to the beach approximately 2-3 minutes.

Just a little refurbishment of some furnitures will do..

Place is good for relaxation. Nice beach.
