Nancy’s house was the perfect place for a Brandi Carlile Tanglewood concert reunion with long time college friends. The house was perfectly set up for us with everything we needed for a relaxing visit and proximity to Tanglewood (15 minutes away) was ideal. She was helpful with suggestions for local restaurants and day trips. I highly recommend Nancy’s home for a visit to the beautiful Berkshires.

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at Nancy's home. We had everything we needed, three spacious bedrooms with queen beds, two lovely bathrooms, and a spectacular backyard setting. The location was perfect for our day trips to Tanglewood, Chesterwood, and the Berkshire Botanical Gardens. We look forward to coming back again soon! My mother, cousin and sister-in-law spent a delightful long weekend in the Berkshires. There was plenty of room. It’s a quiet neighborhood at the base of October mountain The cottage has three spacious bedrooms, two floors with two bathrooms. The kitchen and bathroom extremely well stocked with everything you can imagine!! The entire place was spotless !! Nancy was so generous with times of arrival and departure. The garden is lovely and it was so pleasant to eat some meals outside! Will definitely stay here again!!

Perfect house for 3 couples. House was clean and convenient to the Berkshire Botanical Gardens. The whole process was easy to navigate.

We’ve just returned from a 3-night stay at The Speckled Hen, and we loved it. Nancy, the host, was so thoughtful, letting us know the morning of our check-in day that we could arrive a little early as the cleaning was already done as well as responding very promptly to every email I sent, from the time of booking right through our stay there. The house is even nicer in person than it looks in the photos, with very comfy beds and furniture. The lay-out was perfect for us and our two friends, with a nice first floor bedroom near a beautifully renovated bath, and two other rooms on the second floor flanking another bath. The location is also excellent - VERY easy to get to Lenox/Tanglewood, Stockbridge, and of course downtown Lee. It’s in a quiet, beautiful area, but still close to major roads. We will definitely be back!

A great find for those visiting the Berkshires. A very comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood, close to key entertainment venues and restaurants, with tons of room for the two couples (with a bedroom left over). Checking in and out couldn't have been easier, and the host was extremely thoughtful.

This was the perfect house for a long weekend girls trip! Plenty of space to spread out and also a great gathering space for meals and late night chats. The house is truly adorable, with lots of thoughtful amenities for the guests. And it is close to many Berkshires attractions, including adorable downtown Lee. Nancy was a perfect host - very responsive and welcoming. I'd definitely stay here again!

Great weekend in Berkshire’s. 2 couples played golf went zip lining and had great meal at Zinc Restaurant in Lenox. Perfect for our weekend getaway. Great location quiet neighborhood and comfortable home. Well equipped kitchen and beautiful bath. Would stay again.

Great cozy home perfect for a girls’ weekend. If you’re looking for a place to hunker down and hang, you won’t be disappointed! Her suggestions for things to do were fantastic, the home was clean & cozy. Keep in mind for your planning that you’ll need to drive everywhere (there was no luck with Uber or Lyft when we checked it for a “just in case”)

The weather was icy when we visited, but the heat came right up. We didn't use the large backyard, but enjoyed gazing at it as we prepared food and washed dishes. Nice space for games (winter or summer) and for long meals under the stars! Nancy is an outstanding host - thoughtful, generous, warm, and well-organized. Cudos for composting and cultivating a pollinator garden! We especially enjoyed the artistically curated collections here and there. Many thanks!!

We stayed in the Freckled Hen for a Ski trip with the family. The home was very clean and well maintained - plenty of amenities and totally comfortable beds and linens. The host, Nancy, was very kind, and took good care of us. She was a wealth of information about the area and good places to eat at and visit. Highly recomended.

My son and his family live in Lee and we planned to spend Thanksgiving together. The Freckled Hen's Berkshire Nest house was perfect. Listing is better than described. It's so warm and inviting and was beautifully decorated for the Thanksgiving season. We were 4 adults and there was plenty of space for all us to be together and have our own space. Being it was end of November we didn't take advantage of the spacious yard. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, mixing bowls, cups, glasses and silverware. Bedrooms are roomy and beds are very comfortable. More than enough towels and Nancy even had extra toiletries in case I forgot something. Neighborhood is very quiet which was nice. And only 7 minute drive to center of Lee. Nancy sent a very detailed explanation of everything we needed to know about the house a couple of days before our visit. This was so helpful. And she was very quick to respond to the one question I did have. We will definitely stay here again!
