The owners did a really nice job restoring property after Ian. They were thoughtful in replacing and stocking items that made it easier to stay. Our only complaint, which unfortunately was the main focus of our trip was the heat of pool and hot tub. Despite running heater all day/evening, we could not get water warm enough for a comfortable swim. The pool person said a sensor is bad (last day). We were then charged for electric bill. We were trying to be understanding, but that was a bit much for a property of this expense. Sorry. Would have otherwise been a 9.9 stay.

Very roomy inside and out. Everything was new because of the hurricane. This place is beautiful. Loved the outdoor shower in the grotto! It’s surprising what mischief two old folks can get into in this wonderful pool area. You have your own private water park!

Stayed at this villa for 7 nights to celebrate a big birthday with my wife. I find it hard to put into words just how unbelievably fantastic this villa is. It made us feel like millionaires all week. Inside, the villa has a superb feel to it with new quality appliances and furniture, comfortable beds and a vast living space, whilst the outside pool/spa area is as good as you would find anywhere in the world. Manfred and his wife met us on our arrival and gave us a tour of the villa and made us feel at home which was a great start to the stay. If you are considering booking this villa… do so. It is amazing !!!

We booked our stay at this home as a special treat for our 40th birthdays. This house was perfect and exceeded our expectations! What started out as a “one-time” stay at this house has now turned into a place we want to create memories at every year. We loved the location, the pool, and that the kitchen was fully stocked. Each bathroom had its own bath towels, wash clothes, and soap. Besides making a few trips to Publix for food, there was no need to leave this house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we're already counting down the days of when we will return!

When we entered the house, everything looked very clean and nice. The kids couldn't wait to enter the pool. Unfortunately on day 2 we found a live cockroach in the kitchen. We took care of it and didn't pay too much attention to it. In the evening we found another big live cockroach in the bedroom. We really didn't like it and I immediately send an email to Kurt to let him know. We got zero response. Only after two days, when we reached out again because the numerous roaches we found every day, he finally responded. The only thing he said, that there are roaches in the house because of the Florida climate. We've been to Florida many times before and we know that if you see a life roach, you should report it, so that the owner of the house can act fast to prevent it from spreading. We told him that and got no response again.... The only email we got back was about a payment for the electricity on the day we left. We think it's unprofessional to ignore problems like this with the house. Therefore, we would not recommend this property to anyone. Choose a beautiful villa with perhaps a smaller pool, but cleanliness and hygiene is for us much more important.

Very clean and well-equipped home, but the pool in the shining star. Grotto, bridge, waterfall, lighting, music... it had everything! The kids loved it!

My partner and I both had the time of our lives a this villa. It is absolutely stunning. Cannot fault a single thing. It’s impeccably clean and beautiful and truly like you’ve stepped into paradise. The owners are extremely friendly warm and welcoming and communication and organisation was excellent, we had great contact throughout and a lovely informative tour. The villa has absolutely everything you would need and more. The pool area is out of this world, as is the whole area of Cape Coral. We had the holiday of a lifetime and we will definitely be coming back as often as we can! Already started saving up! Omg! The pool photo sold us the moment we seen it! It was beyond spectacular! The house was roomy and decorated with the perfect Florida feel! We enjoyed early morning swims and then going out touring Cape Coral neighborhoods, before returning for a lovely cookout on the beautiful screened lanai! The pool, grotto and waterfall were lit by colorful lights that made our evening swims so relaxing and enjoyable! What a wonderful, yet affordable, tropical getaway!

After renting this property 3 years ago, it was the 1st choice for our family when we talked about where we would go after having to take a break from traveling the last couple of years. It did not disappoint! It is so nice to have the private pool and hot tub, being right on the water And so close to so many different things to do in sea in Fort Myers, Naples, and Cape Coral. We had such a great time that we decided while we were there to go ahead and book again for next summer! Also the management and communication from the property owner is amazing, all of our questions were answered promptly. We would highly recommend this property fproperty for a very relaxing relaxing family vacation!

This house is amazing. The place was gorgeous and clean. We spent every morning on the lanai having breakfast together. We loved the pool, it was a total fairy tale pool. We went to the beach on Sanibel each day, it was about 25 minutes away. We fished off the dock. We will come back here for sure.

I rented this house for my sons 5th Birthday! The location was convenient to stores and restaurants. The pool…. The pool did not disappoint! The outside space was everything we could’ve asked for! The patio is large for times we were just outside enjoying morning coffee or around the outside table enjoying a meal together. The location on the canal Was great for fishing and seeing some wild life. (Dolphin, and stingrays) The pictures of the inside do not do the house Justice. The kitchen was large enough for multiple people to be preparing a meal. And the living room dinning are was spacious. The property managers were very helpful and responsive when I had questions. The house house everything you need for vacation just bring your clothes! I will say I was nervous about going over the electric and what that would cost because we had the pool heaters and pumps on for most mornings/evening however I only paid an extra $67!!! We would absolutely rent this house again. Only negative thing I have to say, this house needs new coffee mugs!

We enjoyed our stay in Cape Coral! Great fishing. Got to spend time with family from out of state that we only see once a year. This was a great meeting place.

The house had everything we were looking for. Great pool area for the family and was nice we could heat the pool however we wanted so our kids stayed warm for morning and night swimming. There were some entertaining games to play. We loved having the full wall of sliding glass doors open to fully enjoy the beautiful weather. Would stay here again.

House had everything we need. Kurt and Manfred were fast and very helpful with questions. Additional charges were incurred due to the cooler weather and heated of the pool for of overage in electricity. It was on the booking agreement. Just a charge to be aware of when renting property. House in very nice area.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked. The pool area was fantastic. We spent a lot of time there. There is a dolphin fountain and waterfall. And we loved using the hot tub. The neighborhood was quiet and it was located close (by car) to activities in Cape Coral. There were also bicycles available to ride around the area. We had a great time.

All in all we were very impressed with the property. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the pool area was amazing! Wish it would have been warmer outside, but that was the choice we made booking in January. Still better than up North where we are from! The only thing I would have liked was a couple tabs to run the dishwasher as we filled ours by Thursday and were there until Monday so they sat. Also there was no book informing us how to turn on the hot tub or heat the pool or even a WiFi password. After a long day of travel it would have been nice to use. We could not do that until the following morning when the property manager came to show us. We were under the impression that it would be hot when we arrived. Besides those couple things we were very impressed and would definitely stay again.

Flawless Vacation. Home was accurately explained in the listing. The open floor plan was great. Kitchen was well equipped with all cooking necessities plus more!! The grotto and pool were awesome. The waterfalls were a nice touch to the whole experience. We caught fish at the dock and saw dolphins almost everyday. I saw a baby manatee!! Wildlife in this location is the best!!

Pool and hot tub is amazing and so relaxing and is where we spent the majority of our afternoons/evenings. Loved the open living room/kitchen area with the big open patio doors that brought the outside in as one big space. Since it was December, we only ran the A/C at night while sleeping, then clicked it off during the day and opened up all the sliding patio doors. I would have loved to see the unused desk area/fake fireplace on the side of the living room turn into a game area....maybe with a small pool table or shuffleboard....Just a thought as it would really add a lot to the space and would be a really cool addition making this house even more appealing than it already is. Would return for sure and wish our stay could have been longer.

If you want to rent a boat and head to the Islands, this house is perfect. If you want to stay by the pool all day, this house is perfect. Owner was responsive and easy to work with. Our family had a wonderful Christmas at this property and would highly recommend it.

Where else are you going to stay that has a pool like this? My kids (2 and 4) loved swimming everyday in the pool. It's a short drive to Yacht Club beach with a playground, beach and Boathouse restaurant. Great location. We rented a boat that we were able to dock right at the house. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and the layout of the home worked well for us- one bedroom on one side of the house, two bedrooms on the other. It was so nice to see the sunsets right from the pool area and dock. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a home with a private pool for our autistic son so he could swim without large crowds. The picture of the pool area alone drew us to this house. The pictures did not do it justice. It was incredible. Very private as we never really saw the neighbors. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a full Thanksgiving meal from scratch. The beds were very comfortable and the showers had good pressure. All in all, it was an excellent stay. We look forward to returning soon

Property and location are great…..the pool was 75 degrees and took several days to get to a tolerable 87 degrees.

Traveling with Grandparents, parents, and kids (6&4). The house was setup perfectly for us. Grandparents on one side, parents and kids on the other. Ample room for all. The pool is amazing and what brought us back for a second stay. The house is centrally located with short drives to Fort Meyers Beach and Sanibel Island. I recommend Tiki Hut Bar for cheap eats and The Boat House for a sunset meal or drink. What a great family trip!

My son and I have a blast swimming in the pool, sitting in the hot tub, and fishing off of the dock! Lots of little touches everywhere -- room to play, eat, cook, and just have fun. The house is clean with everything you need. We only left the house once to go to the beach and decided the house was better! I highly recommend, especially if you have children.

The pool was great and made the stay worth it. Lots of outdoor enclosed patio space where we spent most of our time. I strongly recommend avoiding any place that does not have a screened in pool area. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quiet the neighborhood was- hardly saw or heard anyone else around the area. There were a couple of things that were less than great, but weren’t so problematic as to really effect our stay. First, I got charged an extra $100+ after our stay for exceeding the allowable weekly electric usage. Owner mentioned that I made the mistake of running air condition fan constantly instead of having it set to auto. Well, I didn’t touch the fan setting, I just turned down the thermostat from 79 to 72 when I got there and didn’t touch it again. So I guess I got charged for someone else’s mistake. Which leads me to my second criticism. There really should be house instructions written down. The property manager came by and showed us how to use the pool features, but why not write all the instructions down so people know how often to run the pool pump or to make sure the air conditioner is set to auto, etc. Finally, the sound system for the pool and hot tub area are woefully outdated to the extent that it was not worth the hassle of using the sound system. The sound was constantly breaking in and out which was frustrating. I would just bring your own Bluetooth speaker if you want poolside music. Other than those minor critiques, my family had a great time and would return.
