Well equipped, clean, warm, very spacious shared area. Owners responsive. Great outlook. Plenty of offstreet parking

Bedrooms are quite small but adequate.

The house was amazing !!!!All day sun, Fantastic garden which finished at the lakeside.Amazing views across the lake to mountains.The house was warm and the fire on cold nites was very cosy.The month we spent here was brilliant as Peninsular Drive is right on the gateway to Te Anau and the airport and with the Rav 4 we were able to tackle some of the many unsealed roads

That it was close to family, and lakeside with beautiful views.

I booked a four bedroom holiday home, with kitchen, laundry, lounge etc, but arrived to find that it was an Airbnb style place but worse with no facilities at all (1/4 roll of toilet paper with no spare, no glasses, kettle, tea, coffee,fridge etc) when asked about these things was told “oh I suppose you could use our kitchen upstairs “ then 20 or so minutes later brought down a bottle of wine and some glasses (see photo- glasses were filthy), We stayed 4 nights unfortunately but we made the best of it as we were there to visit family and travelling with a pup but were completely disappointed at it being misrepresented as a holiday home when it was in fact a room under the house. Please double check that you are in fact getting what you’ve booked to ensure a nice relaxing stay where you don’t feel like you’re an intruder.
