Acceptable enough at the price. Room was clean.

Beds were not comfortable. The room was loud and right beside a busy road. No parking. The neighborhood felt quite unsafe to be out any time after dark.

Clean, relatively comfortable bed, hot powerful shower, good security.

The hotel advises that one of the services they offer is luggage storage. I arrived to the hotel at 11 pm and asked to store my luggage for a couple of days until I returned to Puerto Montt. Flat out no. Ok not a problem...can I pay to store my luggage? Flat out no. I was leaving at 5 am the next day for a flight. I understand if you don't want to store luggage but don't offer it as a service on a booking website. It was the attitude and atrocious customer service of the receptionist who just said no then ignored me and didn't offer any help or alternative solutions with the issue that was caused. Thankfully I jumped back on booking.com and booked a hotel for the night of my return. I ran down the dangerous looking street where the hotel is located with my luggage at midnight and the other hotel were more than happy to store my luggage for me until my return. Traffic and passers by making noise until early morning hours is also an issue.

The central location near the bus terminal is great. If you are one transit to for example puerto Varas, hotel Angelmontt is a passable place to stay.

Hotel Angelmontt does have a lot of bad reviews. And if you stay longer for more then one night, I do understand. For one night it is passable. When we arrived, the receptionist (a man) wasn’t happy at all to meet us. We speak a little Spanish and we tried at the reception, but he had such a hurry that we didn’t understand what he was saying. That seemed to make him a bit upset what wasn’t pleasant at all. Eventually he showed us our room. The room had no window. Not the biggest problem for one night, but for a longer stay it is. Furthermore, it was really noisy. The weirdest thing was that, if someone flushed the toilet, something began to “peep”. And this peep was really loud. Later on, we met a female receptionist. She was actually really kind. Credits for her! Conclusion: for one night, a stay at hotel Angelmontt is passable, but in my humble opinion, not for longer.

Room was perfect, but no trash cans. You have to go outside the room to access bathroom and shower. Shower is very small but everything is clean.

The inside is very clean and the rooms look nice, even though the windows are small.

The rooms are small and there are no windows in most of them. There is not much space for the outside patio area. Also the hotel is not far from the bus station but the location is otherwise pretty bad i.e no restaurants nearby and not much happening. It’s pretty expensive for what you get. Staff do not speak English.

The staff is very friendly. They served fruit salad for breakfast which we appreciated, given the normal 'toast and jam and butter breakfast'. They gave us a secure parking slot for free. The hotel is close to the fish market and close to the city.

The walls between rooms are very thin and therefore we woke up to all the noices from our neighbours..talking, snoring, you name it. The hotel is located on a busy road which is very loud.
