My family and I stayed at Chris and Sarah's cabin over Thanksgiving weekend. The photos do not do it justice! We had an amazing time, and we didn't want to leave! We were greeted by a family of bears upon arrival, and we saw many bears roaming on our stay. It was amazing! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The living areas were beautifully decorated and the fireplace made it so cozy. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. We enjoyed playing pool and had fun with the arcade and air hockey as well. The communication with Chris is by far the best that I have experienced with vacation rentals. We definitely plan to return! You will not be disappointed with this lovely cabin! This property is absolutely beautiful! The home is gorgeous. It was spacious enough for my family to be comfortable in the house. The kids loved the pool table, air hockey and the arcade game. Very thankful for the garage. We did see a bear at the end of the driveway. The driveway is steep so keep that in mind. The view was fantastic. We had a wonderful time.

Our trip was a meant to be a peaceful getaway for my birthday and it was truly relaxing. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The views were amazing! We'll definitely hope to return soon!

We had a wonderful week's vacation in this very lovely cabin. From the moment we walked in we felt very welcomed and found it to be very cleaned. We enjoyed playing the different games in the cabin during our down days and or rain days. We just had memorable family times. We saw some bears just down the road from leaving the cabin one late afternoon which was a highlight for us all. It wasn't far to get to different places like a grocery store or downtown Gatlinburg. The cabin was very cozy and for our family great. Also Chris was very nice and on top of everything making sure we were good and things with the cabin was a well. We will come back again.

We had such a wonderful time with our stay! So quiet, comforting, and relaxing. We came to stay in this particular cabin for our Anniversary vacation! We got lucky because this was the only one available for the dates that we wanted to reserve but we definitely weren't disappointed! Everything about this cabin is gorgeous and also the scenery! Only disappointment was that we didn't get to see any bears but maybe next time. I read the reviews and people didn't lie about the steep hill. We took two cars, our Mercedes is All Wheel Drive and had no issues getting up the hill but the Hellcat Challenger which is Rear Wheel Drive was a little challenge at first but this is the car that definitely needs to be in first gear when trying to get up that steep hill. (Just a fore warning to others who may have the same car or something similar). We loved it so much we plan on coming back again for our next Anniversary! Oh and the Rod Run was also on our Anniversary weekend which is a Hot Rod Car Show and this made our stay even better!

Our family loved our stay in Smoky Mountain Sunrise. The home is as represented in the pics and the views are even better! The home is well adorned with a cabin rustic decor perfect for the surroundings. The mountain vistas and property are the reason to be here, and we probably spent more time outdoors than in. The cabin is well stocked with what you need (more than most VRBOs) and the communication with Chris is well beyond what I have experienced (very thorough with great vacation planning details). About 20-25 minutes away from the touristy action (if you want that) and ABSOLUTELY worth it. A great Smoky Mountain getaway!

The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. It came with everything needed for a weekend stay. It gave the perfect mountain experience. The kitchen was fully loaded. The mountain views were gorgeous and unobstructed. There were two game rooms for the kids. My family and I will be returning next year.

The property is absolutely gorgeous and well kept. My two children loved the pool table and air hockey and we all enjoyed the view. It was the most relaxing vacation we have had in awhile. Owners kept us well informed and helped us coordinate the grocery delivery. Thank you!!

We have been traveling to Gatlinburg for over 20 years and have stayed in literally dozens of properties. This was the pinnacle of all those experiences. Chris was, by far, the most professional, accommodating, caring "landlord" I have dealt with and he provided written instructions that answered questions we didn't even think to ask. The house was exquisite - just as described, fantastic location, and amenities to spare. Everything was perfect upon arrival and during departure. Chris and Sarah were very helpful throughout our stay and we look forward to our next visit!

We had a great time at this home! The million dollar views were unreal and we sat outside every chance that we could. The home was perfect for us four but would be good for an additional couple. We loved the views, landscaping, gas fireplaces (inside/outside), the porch, the large TVs, having a pool table, fully stocked kitchen, a larger washer, and comfty beds! We did not see any bears but we might have missed them. We did see a few chipmunks and one doe. Chris and Sarah over communicate and are urgent- much appreciated.

Absolutely perfect cabin and location, we will definitely be returning.

We loved the elevated location and that every detail seemed thought if in advance for what is needed at the house for a stay. Easy to get to events in gatlinburg or pigeon forge or to stay in for a long stay. We plan to come back!

We had a wonderful time at Smoky Mountain Sunrise. The house was perfect for our family. We loved the game room, hot tub and fire pit, but most of all we loved relaxing and enjoying the spectacular views. The location was also very convenient to Gatlinburg, Smoky Mountain National Park and Pigeon Forge.

Great cabin. This is our second time enjoying it. Highly recommend!

The property was very nice. We had 5 adults and 2 children. There were 3 bedrooms for the adults, and there were roll away beds we set them up in the upstairs game room just outside the 2 bedrooms for the children. The 3rd bedroom was on the main floor with a great bathroom and hugh shower. It was very spacious and we weren't sitting on top of each other. Great view from the deck of the mountains.

The owner was great at communication and details. The property was very clean upon arrival. Be prepared for narrow mountain roads and a steep driveway, but you get used to it after a day or so. The views from the porch and fire pit are amazing, and worth every bit of the drive. You are staying in a luxury home, not a "rental", with top notch fixtures and amenities. I would recommend this home or any other home owned by Chris, which is well worth the money. By far the best vacation rental experience we've had.

The property was even better than the pictures. Spacious, clean and private. Great communication with the owners. Their properties would be our first choice if we are back in the area.

Smoky Mountain Sunrise Cabin is comfy and relaxing!! The driveway is steep with a switch back. Still was able to drive in and out with no trouble. Views from both living rooms as well as the porch are stunning and ever changing with the Sun’s position. Three of our guests had mobility issues but we were able to drive to the back of the cabin and it was a level walk in. However bring a shower seat if you can’t stand in the shower. Didn’t see any bears but one visor left his paw prints on the fogged up living room window. Overall it’s a great cabin, perfectly decorated in Smoky Mountain Motifs.

The property is absolutely beautiful. The kids (ages 12 and 14) loved having a pool table and air hockey. We cooked in the kitchen, hung out on the gorgeous wrap-around porch, and had a wonderful visit. We didn’t use the pools, but appreciated having the amenity available. And we did see 4 bears while we were there, which was really cool! The only thing I didn’t realize until we got there is just how steep the driveway is. It’s intensely steep. We had a rental minivan and it worked out, but would have preferred a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Chris was great - super communicative the couple of times I reached out. We would definitely rent from this owner again.

Incredible time! The property was everything it was said to be and more. Great spot, amazing views, excellent amenities — and if you’re lucky and go at the right time, you’ll likely see a bear or two (we definitely did!). Considering making this trip a yearly family affair. Also, if you’re a golfer like a few of us were, having a really fun mountain course just down the mountain from the cabin was a bonus.
