What a fantastic weekend away for my birthday! Susan left me a bottle of wine on arrival and gave us a late check out so we could venture out before home time. The cottage is exactly where we wanted to be, within close proximity to the bars and eateries but still peaceful enough to get a great nights sleep. Everything went smoothly and the courteous call was lovely. The parking permit was very handy for the weekend and we had no problems finding a parking spot. The cottage is clean and tidy with everything you need for a break away, the patio was perfect for catching a few rays and the views of the castle are spectacular. We would love to return in the future.

It was the perfect location for exploring Lincoln! Lots of good places to eat close by if you dont fancy cooking! Very well equipped - with everything you could possibly need. We would most definitely stay there again!

Amazing quirky cottage, amazing location right next to cathedral and castle, lovely to wake up and see the castle turret out the window. This place is proper home from home, missing nothing you could want. Milk and bread there also, bathrooms and showers are great and a little patio to sit on, all perfect, thankyou Susan

The house is fantastic! Beautifully appointed, clean, great views.Everything we needed and fab location, close to the castle and the cathedral. All attractions within walking distance, so many cafes and restaurants to choose from.Lovely being able to park free nearby. Brilliant communication with host and easy self check in. We would love to return!

Superb property with great views, in an amazing location close to the two major attractions: the Cathedral and the Castle, as well as excellent food and drink options. Great accommodation, clean and comfortable. Will definitely return!

Right in the middle of the popular end of Lincoln, lovely views and plenty of pubs and restaurants a few minutes walk away. The cottage was lovely and warm, very clean and comfortable. 2 large soft leather sofas in the lounge to relax on and a very comfortable bed to sleep on. Ensuite bathroom in the top bedroom and another bathroom downstairs. The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of pots, pans, plates and cutlery, tea, coffee, milk sugar, bread and butter were all provided. The owner has modernised the property very well and the cottage is in a nice quiet location. With free parking just around the corner from the cottage the place is perfect. We had a lovely time and a courtesy call from the owner on the day of our arrival was very much appreciated. 10/10 Thank you for a lovely stay.

Steep staircases (the house is on three floors) but it is an old property so to be expected. Not a choice for those who cannot manage stairs!

This property is in a great location. View from the front window Lincoln Cathedral, view from back window and patio Lincoln Castle and both are illuminated at night, fantastic. Park the car free and then just enjoy Lincoln. The cottage has everything you need, it is clean and well equipped. Yes, as has been said the stairs are a little steep but not a problem, it's called character. No question, when we are in Lincoln again this is where we will be staying.

We thought the cottage was full of original charm, we loved the quirky character and the view from the windows was just wonderful. Being on three levels was a challenge but as long as stairs do not worry you it was very manageable. A lovely long weekend away. The host personally checking in and making sure all was well was a nice touch. Fully recommended.

Perfect location near the Cathedral with a variety of restaurants nearby. The cottage is superbly equipped and had everything we needed (even a washing machine) for our week based there exploring Lincoln and the surrounding countryside attractions of Bomber County. Very comfy settees for chilling, patio with tables and chairs and also a proper dining table and chairs for home cooked meals/take-aways. Very helpful owner, came back very quickly with any query, I would highly recommend this cottage.

Went for our daughters graduation the location was perfect situated by the castle and cathedral. Lots of bars and restaurants all in short walking distance.the accommodation is set over three floors for us this wasn't a problem as we are pretty mobile for someone not so sure footed this may be a problem, l would have no hesitation in recommending this property to family and friends.

There was nothing we didn't like about this property we read their description and so we knew what to expect.

The location was fantastic for the Cathedral, Castle, Gallery/Museum and boutique shops. The cottage is a little gem and was very comfortable and homely.

Great cottage with everything we needed, really appreciated the tea ,coffee and milk etc . Ideally situated very close to castle and cathedral with various pubs , cafes and eateries near by and a good base for exploring the rest of Lincoln . Also appreciated the messages from Susan on day of arrival and evening before leaving - very helpful . Would definitely stay again and would recommend!

Everything fantastic. Lovely welcome and warm and cosy. Everything we could possibly need and more. We travel quite a bit and this is the best property we have ever stayed in. Stairs are steep and narrow but easily manageable with care- my husband has some mobility issues but managed fine going slowly and using rail so not an issue for us.
