Great stay

It was a nice little cabin with all the basic necessities!

Our cabin was clean, comfortable and provided all we needed for a restful evening each night after a day full of hiking and sightseeing. Appreciated the convenient location of Lake Park Campground and Cabins. So close to Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park, and the Badlands. But also close to groceries, restaurants, and public park. We went for a run on the park trails every morning. Kitchen amenities were simple...so no complex cooking done..but they did have other pans available at the camp office which was nice if we had wanted to. Linens were fresh and water pressure in the shower was awesome! Made new friends in the RV parked next to cabin... cute kids. Would definitely recommend this friendly and comfortable spot to anyone coming to see the local sites.

Check in was confusing. The location was centrally located to the National parks and state parks.

Overall a nice stay. Good location. The cabin is a little dark.

It was a great lace to relax after sight seeing all day! Close to everything! Wonderful site!

Enjoyed our stay. Very clean, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great location, easy to access all the attractions and easy to get into Rapid City. Only negatives-small shower and no dining table.

We liked almost everything about the property, Comfortable beds but the living room furniture was uncomfortable.

Very friendly, clean

First time here. It started with meeting the host/manager. He was very friendly and helpful! The accommodations were great and the location was perfect to to see the sights around the area. We were very pleased! Made out first trip to the area a lot better.

I stayed here three nights as a base camp to visit the Black Hills area and it was amazing. The whole Canyon Lake area is phenomenal and i plan to come back to the Black Hills in the next year or two and will be staying at this location again.

A very well maintained cabin. Was spacious, quiet and very comfortable. Exactly as advertised. Would definitely stay here again and would absolutely recommend close to park lake and stream. Was able to fish and relax!

Great place

I had never been to Mount Rushmore and with the way the world has been, I felt strongly that we needed to see it before the possibility of something bad happening to such a fascinating piece of history took place. With covid a concern, I found this cabin which I thought would be safer with less people as is the case with hotel hallways and such. What a great spot! We absolutely loved our cabin and the area! My kids, twin 8yr olds, had a blast playing in the water and at the playground! We didn’t have a chance to use the grill and sit outOn the patio, as we ate out but what a very cool extra that this place offers families! We are already talking about coming back next year! Thanks for helping our end of covid summer and before school trip a success!

With all the craziness going on this past year we just need to get away. The property was awesome!!! I was great it’s not having to bring along sheets, blankets, pillows and towels. But what made it even better was the small things..... the coffee and creamer so that we didn’t have to run out right away, lots of towels and a hair dryer. The property was quiet and very well kept, we would love to come back.

The stay was great and the location was perfect for our needs!

This place was perfect for our little family get away. The staff were all very kind and helpful! We had 2 separate cabins since we had 2 families going together. They were great about placing us close to each other. Cottages were clean and supplied with all the essentials we needed.. Scenery was beautiful with enough to do right there on site.. Our grandson had a blast fishing, riding his bike and paddle boating. Location was great for visiting popular sites like Mt Rushmore and Bear Country. We enjoyed it so much we are already considering a second stay. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a great place to stay in SD.

Check in took less than 5 minutes and we were on our way. Cabin was so cute! Would be amazing for family reunions. Walking distance to paddle boating and great fishing. Short drive to almost anything you’d want to visit. We will definitely book again!!!
