Nina’s island get away was the perfect base and halfway point for us to visit family and friends in Wollongong & Sydney. The accommodation was comfortable, quiet, clean and had every thing we needed. It would be idyllic in summer - unfortunately we didn’t have time (and the weather wasn’t great!) to try the day bed or the lovely reading nook looking out to the garden.

Property was clean and tidy. Nina was lovely to interact with and was very helpful.

We did a weekend trip here from Sydney with my partner and our dog and we all had a great time. The property is exactly as described and communication with Nina was easy. She gave us lots of recommendations to explore the area too. From the house it's a short (but hilly) stroll to the cafes and restaurants of Thirroul and a short drive to the multitude of beaches in the area, many of them dog friendly too.

Property is immaculate. Very quiet, every need catered for, and the beds are very comfortable. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Generally all good. Host was very attentive and has thought of everything one could possibly want or need. Older travellers need to be aware foot access is very steep, property has several levels separated by a couple of steps each. Lighting is poor inside which suits romantics but needs consideration for older people and littlest.

Perfect experience
The property was absolutely beautiful. A peaceful retreat with amazing hosts. Hand built daybed outside was utilised the whole trip including during the rain. Was peaceful and a wonderful break. I’m now looking for any excuse to return and stay.

Enjoyed the stay immensely. A couple of hiccups in communication when arrived, however host was simply lovely and everything about the place was terrific! Clean, spacious, pretty garden and peaceful place.

The accommodation was extremely comfortable , spacious and well presented. Close to shops and the train.

Romantic Surfside hangout
Had an excellent stay. Very clean and nicely decorated downstairs hideaway. Close to the beach and shopping in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Very enjoyable!

Thirroul Nina's Place
We were met on arrival and the place was spotless and Nina was very friendly. Can't recommend this place enough. We were down for a Beatles Abbey Road concert and Nina even left us a vinyl copy of the LP with a nice bottle of red! We will return for a longer stay next time.
