Location is incredible

Apartment had a few faults like some worn/broken pieces of furniture and it wasn't the cleanest.

Stunning views!

The landscape, definitely! An amazing view to the mountains and fields, very bucolic spot. The place is also very quiet, one can hear the waters gurgling from the creek nearby. Plus, Alexandra was very kind and took care of everything.

I don't know, everything was perfect. Maybe an extra paper towel and hand soap, but no big deal.

The location of the property was good.

This property did not meet our expectations whatsoever. I had booked this as a special treat for my family due to the fabulous image created on the website. This property was described as ‘luxury’ however this is inaccurate and misleading. From personal experience I would advise not booking this property for your stay as there are much better options in Chapelle d’Abondance. The property we found ourselves assigned to was on the ground floor with a view of the road and a tree, not the promised mountain view as stated on the website. The bedrooms were tiny and twin beds rather than the doubles stated on the website. There was lipstick marks on the wine glasses, the extractor fan was broken, there was a missing lightbulb above the bath, stains on the wall, cigarette butts right outside the bedroom window/door and scuffed, pleather dining chairs. Not at all the luxury feel that we had expected. We were in apartment A01 and were advised that we were unable to be moved due to the individual accounting figures for each apartment. A Dutch company owns the building and the apartments are predominantly Dutch owned, apparently there are some nice ones but they’re not all up to the same standard. If you’re not happy with the apartment you’re allocated then you must call up to a change, however unless you have stayed previously you wouldn’t know which apartments are below standard. Following a complaint to the receptionist nothing was done to improve our stay, we were simply advised to write a complaint email instead. We have done this and have still not heard anything back. We won’t be staying at this property again.

Lovely apartment and great location. Good Wi-Fi (unlike previous reviews it was excellent!) Boulangerie delivery service each morning. Short walk to a ski lift and bus stop to other ski areas.

Would have been nice to have staff around a bit more for queries and information.
