Location is excellent. Building with lift. Reception staff very friendly.
Breakfast is very reasonable and includes enough to start the day.
Cleanliness could have been better. Towels were stained.

Our room needed some work to be more pleasing—maybe a coat of paint or some brighter artwork. It was drab and the bathroom shower guards didn’t work.
It needed to be better cleaned and spruced up.

Die Lage des Hotel ist super gut! In einer belebten Straße - und dass muss man ehrlich zugeben, man hörte in der nacht kaum einen Lärm. Frühstück war in Ordnung (jedoch freute ich mich auf niederländisches - dieses war leider nicht gegeben. Ansonsten war das Hotel abgwohnt, schmutzig, heruntergekommen. Die Bilder lügen komplett (vielleicht gibt es ein paar renovierte Zimmer). Im Lift war alles angeschmiert, im Stiegenhaus hat es muffig gerochen, unsere Pölster war (2 von 4) mit Schminke verschmutz, im Bad lagen Haare herum, Zellophan befand sich beim Bett, Dusche dreckig und verrostet,... Ich weiß man schläft nur, aber dieses Hotel kann ich auf keinen Fall empfehlen....

The hotel is right in the centre of Amsterdam, just a few minutes' walk away from the main attractions. Though I had booked a single, I was given a double, which was great. The room itself was quite small, especially the bathroom, but space is a premium in general in Amsterdam and it had everything one would need. The bed was comfy and the room generally very clean. There is an elevator for rooms located in the upper floors. The staff was welcoming and helpful.
Breakfast was fine and included in the price of my booking, although the choice was not too varied, especially if you don't do savoury for breakfast.

Super zentrale Lage. Alles sehenswehrte zu Fuß erreichbar. Zimmer reicht völlig aus, alles da was man braucht. Ein kleines Stadthotel mitten in Amsterdam. Einfach, aber mehr braucht man auch nicht.
Wir mussten 100€ Kaution hinterlegen. das haben wir in unserem Urlaubsbudget nicht mit eingeplant.

This hotel was very convenient for the central train station.
It was very dated and although it wasn't necessarily dirty, it did seem that it could use a more thorough cleaning.

Having a wheelchair was not easy for this city! The hotel was what was expected, the staff went above and beyond each day always willing to help

The rooms and bathroom are not clean at all. Our towels were not washed after the previous guests. Also the rooms are small and without air condition

The beds were okay. The breakfast was alright.
We could hardly get into our room because of all of the boxes piled in the hallway right at the room entrance. It was too warm in the room. There was really no place to put the luggage.

Location was perfect! So easy to get around the city center. Sites, food, museums. I was able to see a lot in a limited amount of time. Staff were wonderful. Perfect for a short stay.
Room was pretty small, but still had a bathroom. If I was staying longer, a slightly bigger room would have been nice, but this was perfect for me and my overnight bag.

Location was excellent. Room very poor but breakfast was excellent.
Room was tiny. Could not move in bathroom without hurting myself on a sharp object. Could not sit comfortably on the WC as there was not enough room. Only one power socket in the tiny room. The complementary coffee making ingredients were nor routinely replenished. The bathroom door was hanging off its broken hangers and restricting access. Reported but not repaired

Great location, very friendly staff. Short walking distance to most touristic attractions.
The room is quite small and could be cleaner/renovated. You can hear most of the noise from the inside of the hotel. Breakfast was very simple.

the price for a Night was sooooooo expensive for the value, the room was so cramped, electrical outlets were located in one single spot, in addition to that it fried my Laptop when I plugged in due to unstable electricity flow

Very friendly staff who were happy to help however they could including booking a taxi, giving directions and helping with travel plans, making adjustments to support one of our group with mobility issues.
Stairs to reception were very steep and carpet dirty.

central location but that came with noise from the street until the early hours. didn’t bother us but worth mentioning for others.
we held the room with AMEX when we booked. got to the hotel to be told they didn’t take AMEX. very disappointed with that given the listing on Booking.com says explicitly they accept AMEX and the booking was held by an AMEX card. if we hadn’t had another means to pay for the hotel I am not sure what we would have done. even today the listing says they accept AMEX….

Perfect location, right in the heart of Amsterdam.
Staff were all very kind and informative.
Room is small and compact, but walls are very thin and I could hear people in hallways and in other rooms very clearly. Potential to be noisy if that bothers you.
Was quite noisy, especially in the morning when people were up and moving about.
I wasn't told that there was a deposit required when I arrived. This should be advertised more clearly.

Very well located and the price for the location was outstanding. Continental breakfast was quite nice.
Some rooms can be a little noisy due to the location, not an issue for myself as I use ear plugs but could be for others.

Breakfast was good, hotel clean, staff friendly, location excellent. Perfect for short stay in Amsterdam because it is close to almost every tourist attraction.

Amazing location and surprisingly quiet in the room even though it faced onto a busy street. Friendly and helpful staff. Whilst room was expensive for what was a basic room, it was clean and comfortable, and overall good value compared to other hotels in Amsterdam, particularly as breakfast was included.
The only thing I didnt like was the music played in the restaurant at breakfast (I would prefer no music!) Maybe some different fruit options at breakfast would be good too.
