The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Amsterdam, overlooking the beautiful Dam Square. This central location made exploring the city's attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas incredibly convenient. Despite being in such a bustling area, the hotel maintained a serene and peaceful ambience, offering a perfect escape after a day of sightseeing. My room was elegantly designed, combining modern amenities with classic charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep and an impeccably clean and well-maintained room. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as the complimentary coffee machine and the luxurious bathroom amenities. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is the level of service provided by the staff. Every team member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Great hotel, obviously towards high end customers but I found the price way too high for the standing still.

Took ages to get tooth paste late at night and no brush in the toilet (?)

Good location near shopping district and some good restaurants.

A number of little things. Room overlooked dumpster area of another building (at the room rate…?), was quite difficult to get an afternoon drink and a challenge to get that taken to outside smoking area, received turn down on day one and had to call for the room to be made up on day two. None of these are big things but at the daily room rate it is very reasonable to expect better.

Access to the room was very difficult and complicated. My room was on the fifth floor but there was no direct lift to the room. I had to take one lift first to go to the first floor, exit there and cross a bridge, then take another lift to the fifth floor. And of course the same when I wanted to go down.. It was really complicated and time-consuming..

Wow is the only word to describe this hotel. The breakfast dining room is an experience that no one should miss; the buffet offerings are totally over the top and very impressive. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful, I could not say enough wonderful things about them. The cafe serves an excellent selection and the service is top notch. It is centrally located on the Dam. It is definitely worth the splurge.
