We are so happy to be back on Sanibel and at Loggerhead Cay! This condo has been renovated beautifully and the host was a delight to work with when we ran into a few issues as a result of Hurricane Ian.

Walt and Debbie were fabulous hosts! Their condo has been newly renovated with all new appliances and everything we needed to make our stay comfy and relaxed. It was spotless! Great communication--immediate response when we had a question.The view from the window and screened-in lanai is spectacular--ocean view and at night we kept the slider open. The ocean waves lulled us to sleep! Easy walk downstairs and amazing shells everywhere! Biking is easy on the island and many wonderful restaurants and shops are open for business. Thanks for a delightful week away from the chaos of everyday life!

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation and would highly recommend staying here. The beachfront location is perfect with a lanai to enjoy morning sunrises and full ocean views! The unit is fully equipped with everything you need for a beach home and was recently renovated with a brand new kitchen and flooring throughout. We can’t wait to visit again!!!

My two kids, my husband, and I had the best time at this condo. Such a fantastic vacation spot. It was so incredible clean and beautiful- and so close to the beach we fell asleep to the surf sounds every night ❤️ Being steps away from the beach was great for our kids. We hardly had to leave the condo complex. The pool was beautiful as well. We are so grateful to Walt and Debbie - they were so accessible for all our questions and delivered on everything they promised and more. Thank you thank you to the two of them and we can’t recommend this condo enough to anyone else. It was truly a beautiful, surf sound spot!

I would definitely return and stay at the same place again

We arrived to a broken dishwasher and then 4/7 days of our stay they were painting the entire building exterior where we had rented. There was paint tarps, buckets of paint, taped windows including our own. The painters had a loud four story crane and generators going from 9am-5pm for FOUR days. At times use of the elevator and stairwell were non accessable. For three days we had to park farther away in guest parking because their trucks and equipment blocked all the spots in front of our building. Then everyday when my wife would come back for lunch from the beach there she had to maneuver through the painters or saw them laying on floor during their breaks. I honestly don’t blame the painters as the place should have never been rented in those conditions. There seemed to be no one in either of the two buildings except us so someone knew not to rent or go to those units. At no point was I even notified of this prior to arriving. Overall you could tell the place was nice but not at all the week we were there. I complained almost immediately and was told they weren't even supposed to be painting our building that week. How they rented that place to us without notifying us is unacceptable. Then offering us to refund only approximately 1/7 of the weekly amount charged. I found this to be grossly unfair but I didn't want to argue the point any further as it was upsetting my wife. This is NOT at all what we expected our family vacation to Sanibel to be like. As such we were overall VERY disappointed.☹️.

We enjoyed staying right in the beach, white sand and shells galore! Sun rises were beautiful! We had fun biking, fishing, swimming and all the other local amenities as well!!

We’re looking forward to staying here again. The condo is fully equipped with everything you need for a beach home away from home, except your swimsuit. The lanai is perfectly situated for coffee with the morning sunrise and a direct full view of the beach. We’ve stayed in various locations around the island for 40 years and love this place! The room was so clean and even smelled delightful all week! Such a perfect location in quieter section of Sanibel. And beautiful view from this unit.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect view! Being beach front provided beautiful sunrises every morning and an easy walk to the beach. The condo was clean and exactly as described. The location at the east end of Sanibel was great. Check in was easy, and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

The beach view was outstanding both on the porch and in the living room space. It is very open and spacious. Everything worked well except the louver door to master bedroom as well as sliding guest shower door we’re off track which was a little scary in the bathroom. I would definitely book this listing again.

This property was very nice. It was well equipped with anything you might need. The location and view were great. They could use an update on the living room furniture, it was not very comfortable to sit on. And the tv's were small, larger tv's would be nice. Other than that it was a great place to have our family beach getaway.

Our stay at Loggerhead Cay was nice and relaxing, but it got off to a rocky start when we arrived to find some cleanliness issues. Although there had been surface cleaning and restocking of the condo, we arrived to find stains in the refrigerator, grime on the floor around the refrigerator, drip marks on the kitchen cabinets, cobwebs on the light fixture, toothpaste splatter on the pictures in the master bath, and quite a thick layer of dust on several surfaces. Although a deeper cleaning probably can't happen every week between renters, it appeared to have not happened in quite some time and caused us to doubt and question the cleanliness of everything. This was not the welcome we expected or paid for, especially after driving for two days and looking forward to relaxing at the beach. We did call the after-hours number because it was 6pm on Saturday, and we left a message. However, no one ever returned our call about this, so we ended up doing some cleaning ourselves. Once we cleaned, we were able to relax, and this condo really was comfortable and a decent size for our family of 6. The location with its view of the ocean was wonderful. The complex was quiet and not overly crowded. Both the pool and the beach were peaceful, and the water was mostly calm. There were so many shells! We also enjoyed the screened-in porch, the beach chairs and the beach cart. Compared to other condos we have rented, we thought the pots & pans and cooking gear was limited, flimsy and in need of replacement. Also, as others have said, the accordion doors on the master bedroom with open slots and no lock did not provide much privacy or areas for people to have some space. If you enjoy nature, we highly recommend Lovers Key State Park. It was a 40 minute drive from the condo, driving through Ft. Myers Beach. We kayaked to see manatees and dolphins, and at the beach found starfish and some really large live clams and mollusks, including an amazing conch shell. Pick up the New York style pizza from Citrola's on McGregor on your way back to the island … it was fantastic! Overall we had a nice stay with only the (pretty big) disappointment at our arrival. Hopefully this can be addressed for future renters.

Four high school graduates celebrating their 50th reunion. Booking was easy to find and easy to finalize. This made the start of our trip uplifting and gave the promise that all would fall into place. Corresponded with both the owner and booking agent. Arrived to find everything just perfect!! The condo, the area and the beach. No rowdy or loud neighbors.. We will give this place an A+ and will be returning.

Great experience! Loved the location! Close to the beach ,beautiful views, access to the bikes and beach toys was a seller for our group! We will be back!

Excellent prime location,nice open feel

Condo in perfect location. Sit on the porch and gaze at the water, listening to the beach sounds. Beach lovely for sitting or taking long walks.

Enjoyable experience. Kitchen was very well stocked for meal prep which we did several times. I thought the.carpet in living area should be replaced. It just was dirty looking. Why not do a vinyl plank or tile? Then you know it is clean between renters. Also, for heavens sake, supply more tp. To pay as much as we did and not have enough tp. Really???

Great property ! Totally quiet non busy or crowded location but less than 5 minutes to mainland bridge and restaurant area. The gulf view from 2nd floor screened porch is fantastic. I really can't see how you can get a closer gulf property in such an ideal location. Condo clean, cable, all amenities.

Lovely unit, great view of the sunrise every morning. Unit was very well equipped with beach towels, 4 beach chairs, beach cart to carry chairs, umbrella etc. Owners are very responsive.

We had a lovely impromptu getaway at Loggerhead Cay. The unit overlooked the gulf, which we LOVED. Many plusses were included with this unit - bikes, beach cars and towels, umbrella. The kitchen was ample. We will come back!

We enjoyed our stay in Sanibel so much. We have twins that are in college and this was the last week of their summer before heading back to school. We couldn't have had a better time! Due to all the COVID distancing we were able to order take out every night and have a family dinner on the lanai looking at the water. The only bad part about this vacation rental was having to leave! It was perfect!! Thanks for having us this was a family vacation we will never forget.

We had an amazing time. This was our first visit to the island. The location was great and the views were beautiful. The condo was stocked with everything we needed and then some. Our only complaint was the mattress in the master bedroom. However, we would definitely stay again! Thanks for the great condo.
