The house is in a great location. It is warm and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. The hosts were lovely and very easy to communicate with. We had everything we needed for a great family holiday.

A great little house in an excellent location.
A relaxing spot for our ski holiday - we slept so well! Would stay here again for sure. Host was very responsive and great to deal with - she made our stay very enjoyable.

Anne and Nigel's lovely home welcomed us with sunshine warming the front rooms which have great views towards the mountains. There is a large fireplace and a well-appointed kitchen. We enjoyed walking and bike riding. Anne and Nigel were very responsive hosts, we enjoyed our stay and would love to return when we're back in Wanaka.

We rented this and the neighbouring holiday house for our middle-aged group and it was perfect for a pleasant stay.

We loved our stay - 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Mountain views and lake glimpses. Extremely well set up with everything we needed for our 7 nights. Check in was a breeze and the hosts were really responsive. A 20-25 minute walk into town mostly along the waterfront. the afternoon sun was perfect for reading a book on either of the decks.

Everything about the house was perfect. Lovely comfortable beds to sleep in, room to hang clothes, great kitchen to cook in and a big fridge. With a beautiful mountain view and a beautiful garden in a quiet street, just the perfect place to stay and just 1 min drive to Wanaka town centre.

We loved our stay at this property in Wanaka. It had everything we needed after a day's skiing, and we could relax by the fire to recover! Beautiful garden which the kids loved running around in. Anne and Nigel were very helpful. We would definitely like to stay here again if we came back to Wanaka. Great location very close to lake, shops and town park.

Perfect stay for family. Loved the fire and beautiful views from big picture windows. The kids loved the backyard. We used this as our base for a week skiing at Cardrona and it could’nt have been more perfect! Thanks Anne and Nigel.

Cannot speak highly enough of this older style property in a wonderful location. The decor and facilities were excellent and we really enjoyed the quiet evenings outside on the sunny deck.

The layout of the house was weird, found it hard with people in the bedroom with 2 beds and people walking through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. There was no lock on the toilet which led to some embarrassments. Not enough toilet paper. We were warned about the ants and I totally understand they are little beggars to get rid of, however they were all over the bench and into food,

Very comfortable house within easy walking distance of Wanaka shops and restaurants - and 5 minutes walk to the shores of the lake

We had a lovely stay. The house is equipped with everything you could want and the gardens are beautifully presented. There are great views of the mountains from all the windows across the front of the house. Special thanks to Anne for letting us use the bikes. We hope to return someday.

Great experience. Warm house and great location. Both bathrooms are through a bedroom, so not great for 3rd bedroom access. Ok for a family though. Had all the amenities that we needed plus more.

Winter holiday
We had a great winter holiday at this property - very warm, clean and tidy. Kitchen is very well equipped and the hosts are nearby and able to quickly resolve anything (eg the tv wasn’t connecting to the internet and they quickly dropped of a cable).

Wonderful family holiday
We had a family holiday with members from Aus, Dunedin & Christchurch, after not getting together for years because of Covid. Very comfortable & warm (great wood burner), very well equipped kitchen, we didn't eat out because it was nicer at "home". Very affordable, we would like to come back.

Perfect spot
The house had everything you could possibly need and more. We were a short walk to the lake and bike track around Eley Point. Plenty of space for 3 generations in the house. Lots of storage for bikes and kayaks, I even forgot my book to read but there was a great selection at the house to choose from. Really great
