Staying with dogs was a bonus

This property was perfect for our 3 generations and dog family. Views from all rooms were lovely and the dog enjoyed the garden.

We stayed here for five nights with two people in their 50s, two people in their 80s and two dogs. We loved our time in Hanmer and were blown away by the stars visible from the deck at night. The house was super spacious with two lounges, a dining area and a great outdoor area. The fire kept us warm on a number of rainy days. One thing to note is that this is a Lockwood home and can therefore be rather creaky at times. I did not give full marks for Location and Neighbourhood because very early morning logging operation across the valley woke some of us up and because some neighbours were very noisy. The property is dog friendly, and our dogs had a wonderful time. The garden is securely fenced and fully private, so even nervous dogs or escape artists would be very happy here. The best

The place was honestly great, we really rated the wood fire and the living rooms set up, the only down sides were that we were quite looking forward to a bbq but had to spend ages cleaning it before hand, seemingly the first clean in a while. And throughout our stay we encountered quite a few cockroaches in the house. Otherwise everything was great

Location was great and good we could have our small dogs there. A perfect place to accommodate our family.

We loved staying here and will be back, being child and dog friendly and well-fenced this place was so relaxing for us. Moments from the main shopping center and the pools we had everything within reach. The deck is so lovely to sit on while enjoying a coffee or wine. I loved it! Plenty of walks close by and this home is situated within a very quiet street on the hill. Highly recommend .

This place was the best spot for our weekend away, the property was spacious, clean and picturesque with the surrounding landscape, very relaxing. Owners were extremely helpful and prompt with communication. We leave with our cups full and will return!
