Food was the worst... As per our request the prepared food was not upto the mark during lunch period. Chef should be responsible for what, we as a customer need. The preparation of water rice was pathetic, because we asked for a bit soft but they didn't listened. Secondly the fish was even more worse.. It smelled like rotten. Please be careful what you're offering to the customer.

Over priced for facilities offered

The room was nicely laid out with the four poster bed, two balconies. Well thought out design for one piece of luggage and wardrobe space, with sufficient sitting and work space. The housekeeping staff was wonderfully responsive. The restaurant and bar were quite nice and the service at both places was excellent.

The bathroom was a disaster, with a plumbing problem every time we had a shower. Without the housekeeping staff to help with the flooded floors we would have been at sea, almost literally. The bathroom also had a very bad smell. The only way we could cope with this was to keep the door to the room tightly shut and both balcony doors wide open all the time and keeping the bathroom's exhaust on all through the night.

Location is good.

Pricy for the amenties provoided. Facility needs upkeep. Staff enthusiasm can be improved. Ancillary services are expensive

Breakfast was very tasty and restaurant staff are very cordial. Overall a nice stay.

Swosti Chilika is well spread out, very green, very well maintained green areas, it has cycling etc for kids, excellent swimming pool, a good Recreation room. Thus an ideal resort to spend time in. It has a Motor Boat facility for a ride into Chilika Lake up to KaliJoi Temple. The Deluxe Suite rooms with Private Plunge Pool are an excellent accommodation, huge space, great living room, bedroom, varandh sitting, very attractive Plunge Pool with Jacuzzi. Staff is service oriented and cares about the customer comfort. The Veg Odisiha Thali we asked in AlaCarte was excellent, Chef takes personal interest in guests preferences. The Resturant staff Mahendra gave excellent service. HareKrishna, the Front Office Manager was very service oriented and very helpful. They had good celebrations for the guests in eve before the new year party.

There is nothing much to do outside the resort, so great for relaxing and visit limited to Chilika Lake. Breakfast Buffet management is little lower than expected, both in terms of look & feel and coverage. The usual Deluxe rooms are little tight on space, don't have drawers/storage and Poster Bed may look great, but is a hiderance to mobility & space in the room. Linen, specially towles in these rooms need replacement. In the Deluxe Suites, with a private Plunge Pool, having a sunken bath area is an overkill having less utility.

Location, landscaping, cleanliness, rooms are comfortable.

Over priced. Food is expensive. Breakfast is chaotic due to lack of man power.
