Had an amazing stay here. It was extremely clean. Very comfortable bed. Great location to walk to shopping and have a meal. Grocery store within minutes walk. Close to our family in edinburgh. Would definitely recommend renting this home!!

We really enjoyed our apartment. Duncan kindly left us with several breakfast cereals and milk. The place was clean and convenient. A very modern and complete kitchen. Should we return to Edinburgh, we would love to stay here again

A well-appointed and conveniently located first floor apartment near Meadowbank. Two bathrooms (including an en-suite to the master), comfortable queen size beds (and a couple of singles) and fast internet were the standout features. The property is adjacent to Holyrood Park and a short walk from the Royal Mile. It is the perfect base for an ascent of Arthur’s Seat and Salisbury Crags, both of which afford spectacular views of the city. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes close by. (A couple of the local coffee shops were very good indeed.) It is an ideal location for a short stay in Edinburgh if you prefer to be away from the crowded inner city. Duncan was a cordial host; any questions we had were answered promptly. Recommended.

This was a lovely apartment with everything our family of four adults and two preteens could ask for. The beds were extremely inviting and comfortable. The living room had lots of space to spread out and the bathrooms were modern and stylish. We really appreciated the closeness to the Royal Mile and Holyrood. The kids and their parents climbed Arthur’s Rock and seemed to have given it their own 5 star review. Many thoughtful touches by Duncan were gratefully appreciated. We did use Uber because of the age ranges of our family but walkers in the neighborhood were plentiful.

Beautiful and comfortable apartment just on the edge of downtown. Well stocked upon arrival with breakfast essentials & a pantry full of great things to cook with. There are many nearby shops as well for essentials. Felt very homey, beds were extremely comfortable and easily could've stayed for weeks on end. Will surely be staying here again if/when I'm in Edinburgh again!

This property had three nice size bedrooms, a nice living space and a nicely stocked kitchen! Loved having a washer/dryer unit! The location was very handy and only a short distance from Holyrood Park and a short, easy walk to the Royal Mole! I would stay again!

We were looking for something where we could walk to most things with kids ranging from 2-6. The ‘secret’ entrance to Holyrood Park behind the place was not only perfect but also extra fun for the kids. We also enjoyed the great recommendations from the host, and everything provided. The stay went above and beyond our expectations.

We stayed at this property during the Festival Fringe. The apartment was clean and spacious. Duncan was very responsive and accommodating. While it was a 25 minute walk to most of the main attractions, Uber was always an option. There aren’t really any shops/restaurants/cafes near the apartment, but being next to Hollyrood park was nice. Thank you for a great stay!

Apartment was spotless. Incredible location. Welll appointed. Main Street of restaurants was an easy walk and there is a lot to do in Edinburgh! Shower pressure was great and once we learned (a quick google search) how to use the appliances we were cooking up a storm. Appliances were high quality as was everything else. Highly recommend!

Excellent property on the outskirts of the city. Once we got familiar with the best routes into the city it was a great base to get back to either on foot or a short bus journey. Apartment on the 1st floor was perfectly clean and comfortable for the family. Nice touch with a bottle of milk, jam, and cereals to get started. Towels and two bathrooms spotless. Beds comfortable. Highly recommend if you don’t want to be right in the centre of Edinburgh.

This apartment was the final stay for our Scotland vacation. Near Holyrood, Arthur's seat and Royal Mile. Very clean, comfortable and modern!! Highly recommend if you don't mind a little walking or Ubering to restaurants and shops.

We travel extensively and this is probably the best appointed apartment we have ever stayed in. Everything was spotless, exactly as described and in a quiet, safe neighborhood. What really sets it apart was the quality of kitchen appliances and utensils. Having both a dishwasher and laundry machine made life very easy. The bathrooms were modern with plenty of hot water for showers. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping with a short walking distance. Buses are about three blocks away, making transportation very easy. We will definitely stay here again.

The apartment worked well for our group of two couples. The kitchen was well stocked and location was convenient to the City. Highly recommend the peppery.

Duncan's flat wins the award for most modern, up to date, and detailed considerations. He literally thought of everything and we had a great stay. It was so convenient to the city center, castle, Prince's Street Garden, Holyrood Park, Arthur's Seat, and more. And we rested SO comfortably. Highly recommend.

Duncan's place is a gem! It is clean, modernly furnished yet homey, well equipped, and in a great location near Arthur's seat and Holyrood park.
