We needed a place to have visits from our granddaughters/spouse and this property was perfect. We were able to park and walk to most destinations and the space accommodated a few family dinners nicely. I totally recommend this property for a great San Clemente family stay.

This year we decided on San Clemente over Newport Beach to get out of ‘Hot Box’… Great choice!! This place is a Crows Nest in that it has amazing view of pier and beach/ocean, which mean multiple windows that open from many directions, very comfortable and easy to ventilate. And it was tested the past couple hot nights with good sleep… Newly appointed decor and well stocked kictchen a plus…spacious parking for two cars without the 25 point turns getting out of Newport rentals… Easy walk to pier and some good breakfast options or pizza… The entire town has good dining within five minute drive… we will be back!!

Probably the best view in the bowl
Not too much to say about the property that the pics can't describe.
My wife and I stayed in this building 2 years ago in a different unit. We are now spoiled, from the location, to the bedrooms, views, yah it's that good.
From covered secure parking to the much needed elevator to the front door of the unit, (yes you will use it bc why not and it's great when unloading all the crap from the car :)
You walk into an unassuming bottom floor, bedrooms, laundry, always cool with great beds and great bathrooms. Then you walk upstairs to a never ending view of the ocean horizon, then n to Dana Point, views everywhere. Now I will say there is heat and a fireplace however, we didn't want the heat, just the fire for effect. Apparently they turn it off in the summer, no biggie. Also might I suggest taking the daybed from its current local and place it where the 2 chairs current reside in the living room? Then maybe add in a desk to the space where the daybed currently resides? My wife and I frequently work from the rental as we work from home, not a deal breaker, just a thought to attract more that are crazy enough to visit SC every 2 mos and don't want to take vaca time :)
Everything you need is here but may I add, bring your own red solo cups or tumblers as there aren't any cups larger than 8oz, at least that we found. All in all not a bad thing to say about this property.

Beautiful, convenient gem of a location
The hosts were kind an accessible. And the location is more beautiful than even the pictures can capture. It was a restful and wonderful option For hosting my parents from out of town. They loved being able to walk to so many little shops in cafés

Better than advertised
I'm still new to renting vacation homes and I was anxious to see what I would get. It looked so nice in the photos. The rental process, the check-in process -- all of it went smoothly. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. But we checked into Julia's place and it was beyond our expectations. Honestly, the photos don't do it justice. Whether it was the beachy decor (we went online to see if we could buy her chairs) or the amazing view, we just loved everything. The bedrooms were big and each had a bathroom. That was key. And a bathroom upstairs. A big bed for my wife and I and two smaller ones in the other room for the monsters And don't discount the futon in the living room in front of the window. That's where my wife and I napped in the afternoons. Julia made it so easy to get in and out of. She was responsive and informative -- a pleasure to deal with. The unit was a block off the beach. The dedicated parking behind a secure gate was fantastic. The walk to the shore was short. The big danger is the place that you pass across the street from the beach with the crepes and the mimosas. It can really suck you in. Having beach chairs and umbrellas on site was SO helpful. I just adore this spot.

Can't Wait to Stay Here Again!
We truly enjoyed this property. We have stayed in various places in the area over the years and this is top of the list. The location was perfect, right in the middle of things but also quiet at night. The views from the Penthouse were spectacular, as advertised. and the beach was RIGHT THERE. The unit was spacious, clean, great layout, well stocked with everything we needed. The owner's description of the property is spot on, no embellishments at all. We really liked this place.

A very pleasant stay
This is a nice two-bedroom property with good views of the ocean and pier in a very good location. The parking is handy. The property appeared fresh, clean, and had obviously just undergone a well done renovation. There is nothing junkie in this property. We would stay here again.

Our only complaints about this property is it's a bit outdated and not very clean (floors). The bed was very comfortable and the view from the balcony is spectacular. For the price, it worked. The garage parking was nice and you can't beat the location. Just don't walk around barefoot! Make note that there is no ac and the bedrooms are on the lower level with no view.

The location is great and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the views. The layout of the condo was comfortable for our family of 4 (two teenagers). We appreciated the use of beach towels, body boards and beach chairs! San Clemente is a great town!

Fantastic location and view with parking!
This upper level condo is in a pleasant setting on a quiet street a short block from the pier and beach, where there are a few restaurants, and a slightly longer but very pleasant walk to the main strip with an abundance of shops and eateries. The small balcony has a grill and seating for four, and a sweet sunset view of the beach, pier, and palm trees aplenty - our photos say it all. We enjoyed feeling the cool breeze at night and the overhead fan. The layout is nice with the living and dining upstairs. The condo has clearly been heavily used and although everything was in good working condition, there is evident wear and tear. The host was pleasant and responsive, provided clean beach towels, and the kitchen was well equipped. The parking garage was a huge bonus and extremely convenient, with the elevator opening up literally at the front door. We didn’t use laundry but there is a separate laundry room with non-stacked machines - a rarity. We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend for others looking for a quiet spot close to the beach.

The location and views of this property were fantastic. Two garage parking spots is a rare find, and the proximity to restaurants and the beach was really nice. I also enjoyed the beach chairs that were supplied!

That introduces a bit of logistic challenge with my SUP board carried on my SUV rooftop. But I worked around it easily enough. Will consider renting the unit again when I come back to the area next time.

Love this place!
Did a 5 night staycay here with my adult kids visiting from Colorado and Washington. Me being from Dana Point, wanted to something close but different fo us since this was their vaycay. I couldnt have been happier with my choice. Of course we love San Clemente but the condo was perfect for us, very spacious and clean and stocked with everything we needed for our stay. And the view and ocean breezes were amazing. Also very close walk to the ocean or to town. The host Julia was also very nice and accessable. I highly recomend staying here if you are considering a stay in SC.

Awesome getaway right by the beach!
Lovely apartment very close walking distance to the beach or a downtown area with cute shops and restaurants! We had no trouble finding the place and getting settled. The view is absolutely gorgeous - you can see all the way out to the beach and pier, and the sunset is ridiculously beautiful. What an amazing location wow!

Nice views of the pier and the coastline, and loved hearing the ocean!
Everything was great with one exception. We were traveling with my 83 year old mother who has a hard time with stairs.In the original write up, it states that there's an elevator which sometimes is broken. Upon arrival, that elevator was not working and clearly wasn't going to be working anytime in the near future. We made due,but still anyone who cannot negotiate stairs should not rent this lovely unit.

Amazing house super close to beach!
I stayed at this condo with a group of friends (8 of us total) for four days and it was exactly what we wanted! There were plenty of rooms with more than enough beds and futons for sleeping. We felt extremely at home in this condo as the kitchen was spacious enough for cooking and all the rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The location was great as it was quiet at night and a mere five minute walk to the beautiful socal beachside. We also highly enjoyed the balcony which had a great view of the beach! If we return to San Clemente, we will for sure stay in this condo again!

Everything that I was Looking For
Very private & quiet with an amazing ocean view from Dana Point to Catalina & beyond. Within walking distance to downtown, pier & beach trail. Very well appointed with everything needed to stay home & enjoy the views & breeze, hit the sand for a day at the beach or shop the Sunday farmers' market.
Sitting on the balcony is a pleasure. I could see the whale watching boat out of Dana Point offshore following migrating whales. What a sight!
The owners are very friendly & available though I I found no reason to reach out during my 8 day stay. I highly recommend this beautiful, perfectly situated condo & will be back soon!

Superior Location!
A 5 minute walk and you're on the beach or the restaurants on the pier! The condo is exactly as described, although it seemed even nicer in person. The view cannot be adequately captured in photos, and we spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying it! We had a great experience renting Julia and James' other condo last year, and this year was no exception. The only minor inconvenience was that the elevator was not working during our stay, but we just got a little bit more needed exercise and would definitely return!

This property is as advertised. The location is hard to beat and the views are mesmerizing. The condo has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Kitchen is well stocked. Perfect week-long getaway
This gorgeous property served as the perfect relaxant during my stay in California. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and the atmosphere calming. I spent most of my time on the second floor of the condo, an airy, open room designed perfectly to circulate the gentle ocean breeze throughout. The community is quiet, and the condo is close enough to the sea that one can hear the ocean crashing day and night. It was easy to fall into a content routine here—each morning I would wake up just after sunrise and head down to Bear Coast Coffee for a delicious cappuccino, followed by a walk down the pier and breakfast at a nearby creperie. During the day I would drive up the coastline to explore the various beaches nearby, returning at night for an excellent selection of seafood at the pier, or Mexican just a short walk from the condo. I was wont for nothing during my stay, and intend on returning in the future.
