We absolutely loved our stay at this house over Memorial Day weekend. It was so busy in the island but we felt like we had a piece of quiet heaven back on the porch and on the dock. We brought our boat and spent time fishing and paddle boarding right off the dock, watched sunsets and saw so many dolphins! We cannot wait to come back and stay again!

This was our 5th time staying at this property only missing 2020 when they shut down the island. Kayaking the Folly River and getting close to the dolphins is amazing. The fishing is fun too.

Annual family reunion, had a wonderful time. So much space for all ten of us. Child-proof/safe for the youngest (4 years old). Incredibly easy to use our boat straight off the dock, love the huge kitchen for the food we made every day. Definitely would return.

Had an amazing stay here. We pulled out boat right up to the dock and it was so easy to walk to the beach. The back porch is perfect for sunsets. Will def use this place again if its available!

The picture do not do justice to the peace and beauty of this low country listing. We canceled plans on our first full day so we could enjoy the dock and nearby beach.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is in a great location. A quite cul-de-sac with beautiful river/marsh views. Short walk to the beach. The house was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The rooms are large and we had everything we needed. Would stay again!

Great Getaway
We came to Folly for my sister's wedding and a few of the family members stayed here for the weekend. Very spacious kitchen and living area. Quick beach access maybe 2 blocks away. There is a small market right down the road to grab some essentials. The marsh view and sunset are amazing. We sat out there every night to watch the sunset.

Beautiful and Secluded
Had a great time, this is in a beautiful spot, the back porch and dock can't be beat! Really the only thing that wasn't great was that there were lots of cockroaches on the first floor, especially the master bedroom. We still managed to thouroughly enjoy ourselves and other than that, I give this place 5 stars.

Lovely
Fabulous views!! Quick access to beach too! Kids loved dock, fishing and crabbing too! Easy check in, great kitchen for cooking and being with one another! Plenty of seating , linens, comfy beds. We had a wonderful time.Felt at home and didn’t want to leave. House is a little dated but this added to the charm

Beautiful and spacious home located on a quiet cul de sac with direct water access. My family loved this home. It was spacious, clean and comfortable with all of the amenities we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. The river front dock was a nice quiet way to enjoy water views without being at the beach. That being said the beach was only a short walk away and at the quiet end of the island. Great property! We look forward to our next stay.

Beautiful view, able to see dolphins. Our stay was too short. We were without power because of a storm and the weather was colder than normal, but we enjoyed a lot of family time cooking meals and playing games.

Christmas at Folly Beach
The place was exactly as advertised - no surprises. Located in a quite area with excellent privacy, large yard next to a canal and long private dock out to the deep water river. The place was very clean and comfortable, plenty big for our family of 5 adults. Kitchen in particular was well appointed and very organized. The owner was very responsive to all communications and questions. Overall a great experience.

Best staycation ever!
We are locals to Charleston and just wanted to get away but didn’t want to go far. We literally left our boat on the floating dock all week. It was so nice to just get up and walk outside hop on the boat and do day or evening boat cruises. This home has amazing views we watch dolphins and wildlife from the screen porch that is the full length of the home.
I would highly recommend and we will be renting this home again we absolutely enjoyed it. Miss Alice was extremely responsive to any emails and questions that I had.

The house is sitting in an amazing setting for fun, sun & relaxation!
Along with this amazing house sitting in the perfect location at Folly, the dock was a fantastic amenity for all! We had such a great time with my family, my sisters and their kids. The house was very spacious for our family of 8 for majority of days and then we added an additional 3 totalling 11 staying in the house. Short drive, walk, golf cart to the beach! Amazing sunsets in the evenings! All around fantastic stay! Can't wait to "get away" in the perfect location again!

Such a great house for our family! Close to beach and the water and dock in back yard. It had everything we needed. Owner is great at communicating and responding! You will not find a more beautiful sunset anywhere!

Needs TLC
This house is awesome the location and obviously it’s an older home the kitchen is huge they were gadgets there I never saw in my entire life and I’m 56. TLC please change the carpet and there is a musty smell that I did not realize until I left and had to wash every single piece of clothing because of the smell my purse it’s either just musty or mold but it is an excellent home it needs TLC real bad. My husband and I had a little bit of upper respiratory and didn’t realize it until we left it creeps on yeah that smell

My family and I loved staying at Allison's home. We definitely want to come back. It was so private and in a perfect location. We have stayed in the area many times before but this was by far the best choice for my group.

Absolutely amazing
My siblings and I were celebrating my 30th birthday and we couldn’t of chosen a more perfect beach house!! Allison was absolutely amazing and answered all of our questions as we were booked during covid-19. Her house was the perfect spot. We took family photos, we jumped off the dock, went to the beach, enjoyed several beverages on the back deck. It was the most memorable 30th birthday. If we travel to folly again we will be staying here at Allison’s folly beach house.

We love this property. Great house, lot, dock to keep the boat on, and location close to downtown Folly. Our family has rented here twice now and it leaves great memories. Allison is a great host, I highly recommend renting this house.

Wonderful family Vacay!
This house and location was perfect for our family to spend a long weekend. The house is in a very quiet part of Folly, on the marsh with awesome sunsets, which we loved! The house was very clean and even though it is a little outdated, it was very comfortable. The King bed in the master was super comfortable and we slept well. The only thing I would change is the carpet in the Master. It needs replaced. It is stained in many areas and it makes it look dirty. We would definitely rent this house again!

It looked even better than the photos, absolutely awesome property. Fishing would be great if you know what you're doing. The house had great features that weren't even mentioned, will definitely be coming back.

Spacious Home By the Bay
Loved our stay here on this property. Allison was very easy to communicate with and answered all my questions. The house is a bit of a ways from the center of town (30 minute walk), so a car or golf cart rental is a must - trying to get an Uber or a Lyft was nearly impossible. It has beautiful sunset views and
is a short 3 block walk to the beach!
