The property is worn and is a desperate need for an overhaul top to bottom. The finishing on the cabinetry is peeling off. The furniture is very worn. Drawers are falling off hold an odd assortment of kitchen utensils. Stabilize the dishwasher (minor but part and parcel of the overall condition of the property). The refrigerator door does not open completely from hitting the wall. It needs paint everywhere. New carpet and new furniture for everywhere is an absolute must. The air conditioning unit needs to be upgraded and possibly even have new vents so that you can have more air into the extremely small Two main floor bedrooms (They did provide fans which were equally as dated and did not work very well because you don’t have enough room for cross circulation). And yes it does have three bathrooms. But one of them is up the stairs ! It would also be nice if they were a little bit more forthcoming on the location of the pool relative to the unit itself and the main Town’s main thoroughfare goes right next to the unit where are you here all of the traffic all the day and evening long. A room layout with dimensions, perhaps? But what was nice? The property management firm. The owner of this property should be very pleased to have somebody as attentive, hard-working and dedicated as they are for this “asset”. Check in was a breeze and went exactly as the property manager said that it would be. The beach is also very nice and private. The dining room table size was nice.

Things you need to know...First upon arrival, I was sent instructions that a lockbox was located under stairwell with a code to open box & retrieve keys. We hunted & hunted...eventually we found a lockbox...not under the stairwell, but on the side of rails near garage entrance. We entered the code & nothing...over & over & still nothing...SO, I contacted the number I was given to call IF there were any issues or problems at all...I called the number with no answer, I called again--still no answer...I was in the process of leaving a message WHEN we happened to spot ANOTHER lockbox on the top balcony near front door WHICH worked when we entered the key code & I was able to end my message telling them the problem had been resolved. BUT before ever getting keys...there were 2 issues that were inaccurate in property description. 1) Lockbox was not where said to be 2) Nobody is available should you have a problem. NEXT, the front storm door was broken off hinge that we liked to have never got opened but we finally made our way into the house...we did not use the garage because lights did not work & it was just creepy & we parked in front of steps for the full duration of our stay. NEXT...first time downstairs bathroom was used, the toilet broke, I was constantly fixing the toilet or walking upstairs for a bathroom, drain in tub didn't work & there are many more issues about property & renter but I'm out of characters & can't list them all. Vacation-good...property & renter-MEH

There were 8 of us. We all fit easily. The house was perfect .. Tybee Island was a great place to have fun, relax, and catch up n my sisters. We highly recommend a visit to this friendly, family oriented island. Great property.

The 3 bedrooms worked out perfectly with 1 bedroom on the first floor for a golden ager who doesn't navigate stairs as well as she used to. The kitchen was well equipped for those times we elected to eat at home, then hit the tourist sites. The property has easy access to the airport, Savannah city tours, Tybee Island, and other sites we visited including Fort Pulaski which is visible across the south channel of the Savanah River where the house is located. The beach is about a 100 yard walk on the boardwalk across the salt marsh. I walked to the beach everyday to watch the huge cargo ships which pass the house to load and upload at the Port of Savanah, largest port in US. Easy check in and out. We even had time to complete one of the 1000 piece puzzles provided at the property. We only had 1 rental car, parking for 3 or 4 vehicles might be tricky but doable.

Property was clean and had all amenities described. The house was definitely showing its age. But the property management and convenient location makes up for wear and tear.
