the kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. The lounge/dinning area was lovely - view was amazing.

lighting in kitchen could have been better. some light switches in the bedrooms didn’t work.

Unfortunately there was no aircon (very difficult on those 30 degree days to cool the house down) and there was an ant infestation that appeared through out the kitchen that meant we had to move house part way through our stay. However, the hosts were fantastic at facilitating a move to alternative accomodation.

Overall the property is very tired and could do with an update. When we arrived the property was also very cold, although with the excellent log burner in the main room it had warmed up by the next day amd we managed to keep the fire going for the full week!

Perfect location , close to town but still quiet. Every necessary facility was there. Views from the deck were awesome!

Just a minor moan, the beds and pillows were a wee bit uncomfortable

Upstairs but was a bit hard to find once arrived - the balcony view - was cooler downstairs - kitchen was spacious with cooking utensils and dish washing liquid - dishwasher provided - Interior design - Lollies provided upstairs in the small table in the kitchen when we arrived - Two tables for upstairs (One in the kitchen and one in the Living room) We used the living room one for dinner which made it feel more homely which was nice - Windows provided in every bedroom which helped make the air when sleeping less stuffy - Fruit trees around the house which was nice as we sampled a few! - Netflix provided which was good for a movie night

- Wi-Fi not free - no air conditioning or fan upstairs and was hot during the day - no access to get upstairs and downstairs indoors in the house (No stairs connecting upstairs and downstairs, there was a door locked that looked like it led upstairs) had to walk outside and around to the backyard to get upstairs, it was incredibly scary at night when doing the laundry washing and dryer - downstairs laundry area was scary at night - no light in the garage area for dryer - Laundry washing machine is located is located downstairs. Washing machine is located in the bathroom with the shower with the hole in the wall, and dryer is located in the dark scary garage with no light (the switch turned on and off does not work/no light) - downstairs bathroom has a hole in the shower wall - No fly screens to windows and sliding doors at all, bad at night when we want the cool air at night with lights on without attracting too many moths and other insects inside upstairs - no laundry powder provided - No sliding door for the shower upstairs, just an open shower with a fixed panel - Toilet room was a bit small upstairs and the sink was very small

House was not ready at check in time of 3.00pm, had been traveling several hours and just wanted to relax but was told we could leave our luggage but that we would have to come back later, this was unacceptable. We asked for some compensation and after several phone calls with staff and an email to the manager we never got a reply or compensation. Customer service was very poor.
